Set in Tongeren, 19 km from Vrijthof, 19 km from Basilica of Saint Servatius and 20 km from Maastricht International Golf, Le petit béguinage offers accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi.

Le Petit Béguinage is a beautiful sanctuary in the wonderful, historic setting of the Begijnhof. Beautiful views of the Sint-Ursulakapelle from the pretty balcony. Thank you Steve and Sophie for creating and sharing this luxurious home-from-home: you’ve thought of everything. It’s a wonderful base from which to explore your historic city. We particularly appreciated the personal handover, directions and suggestions. The local books were fascinating.

B&B AntiQua & Qook, hotel in Tongeren

Set in the countryside within a 10-minute drive from the centre of historical Tongeren, AntiQua & Qook Bed and Breakfast offers free access to Wi-Fi and private on-site parking.

My stay at AntiQua & Qook B&B was truly wonderful and comes highly recommended. The bedrooms were not only stunning but also impressively spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with invigorating natural light. Plus, the Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was a big plus. Private parking added to the convenience, and the B&B's location proved exceptionally practical, especially for my work conference in Awans – just a quick 10-minute drive away. To make things even better, there's a fantastic dining option within easy walking distance, and a delightful bakery is just around the corner. The owner's exceptional friendliness and attentiveness made my stay truly memorable. Despite my late arrival, she displayed remarkable understanding and waited up for me. What truly sets this B&B apart is its unparalleled tranquility. In a world where background noise is often a constant, the peacefulness here was a pleasant surprise. The room even featured a silent air conditioning system, which was a welcome touch on a chilly night, ensuring both comfort and warmth. The following morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day ahead. And let's not forget the beds – they were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. In summary, I can't speak highly enough of AntiQua & Qook B&B. It not only met but exceeded all my expectations, offering a harmonious blend of comfort, convenience, and serenity that made my stay truly exceptional.

There’s just enough to do here for an overnight stay - two nights might be pushing it. The flea market (Sunday) is great and there are enough high quality museums to keep you busy. A decent number of bars and restaurants and there are some lovely areas to walk around. A nice place for a relaxing break.

Tongeren is a great place if you want to enjoy typical Belgian hospitality and a 'walk back in time'. Parts of the town are very old. In fact it is the oldest town in Belgium. Ambiorix the local hero defeated the Romans. The Gallo-Roman museum is a must.

A charming place with just three rooms. Staff very responsive and go out of their way to help. Hotel is very clean and the towels are oh so soft! There are full self catering facilities should you wish to cook your own meal. Breakfast is included and has a good selection of cheese and meats and fruit. Room is spacious and comfortable. Centre is just 5 minutes away by walk. Highly recommended.

The location is super convenient in the city center. The room was big and well equipped. The staff (basically the manager) was super friendly and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The (wine) bar of the hotel has a great selection of wines (also by the glass).

The property was value for money. It was close to the cycling network and 3km from Tongeren. It offered private car parking at the back and a small yard to put the bikes. Outside seating was available, but we didn't use it (November).
