Staff were incredibly accommodating going out of his way for us. Easy to find and park. Room was exactly as expected. There was even some free pastries!!

Beautiful house with fantastic hosts who were very attentive, helping us settle in and get our wet bike gear dry on the Aga. The rooms were huge with large bathrooms. The common areas were comfortable and welcoming, if a bit too warm (from the Aga and underfloor heating) There were drinks in the fridge in the library at very reasonable cost. Breakfast was plentiful with fresh pastries, eggs, homemade yogurt, fruit and meats/cheese. On a warmer morning we'd have had breakfast outside in the courtyard garden in front of the host's farmhouse .

Lovely location, very charming and friendly hosts, excellent dinner and breakfast. We would like to go back there and stay a few more days. Really enjoyed the garden and especially the swimming pool and the swing chair.

The hotel is a listed building skilfully converted into a modern hotel. It stands beside the city park and must be very pretty in summer. We had a delicious dinner in the cosy bar-restaurant and a good breakfast. The room (3) was enormous and rather stark but comfortable. Bathroom excellent.
