We stayed in the detached house which was spacious and comfortable, surrounded by lovely trees. We liked to self cater as we had children with us. The only problem was that there was not a shop nearby.

the hotel was close to the train station and to some restaurants and cafés. the staff was very friendly and because it is being renovated, the reception area looked amazing, like a very fancy hotel. our room was on the first floor so hadn't been renovated yet, but was very nice even still and the biggest bed i have EVER seen, you could fit four people confortably there. there was complementary coffee and tea and we were able to leave our bags at the reception and explore the city before check-in time. when we arrived, the bags had already been taken to our room. there was water, a kettle, tea, coffee, creamer, biscuits and chocolate waiting for us, it was great.

The friendly and professional service was exceptional. The stylish and funky decor complimented the experience perfectly.

The house wine was a Grand Cru St Emilion, and was outstanding!
Good parking, altogether a nice place to stay after a long day in a 70 year old car!
geared to corporate / events / anniversaries, but looked after us very well.
It rounded off a 7 day 1500 mile driving holiday really well...and comfortably under two hours to the Tunnel.

Stunning building, beautiful surroundings, with the lovely Sint-Martens-Latem town, shops and nature walkable too. The building itself has a lot of history with art on the wall in the dining hall that was painted by an artist who lived there. Breakfast was available at the property. We had a contactless check-in with a door code which was fast and easy (although be warned, the phone reception is basically non-existent at the property).
the location, the place the size of the room & massive bathroom. the staff were accommodating to our changed needs for an accessible room by offering a ground floor room, though on the day the air-condition wasn’t working & despite the extra fan provided, it wasn’t a comfortable sleep. So the hotel gave us discount
The location, staff and peacefulness were on top. Unfortunately we only slept there after the concert but we wished we had time to have a walk and explore around. All in all a very nice hotel.
