I arrived very late and Lex stayed up and provided me with a larger room for extra comfort. He is a great host and chatted to me for quite awhile and we had a good chat over breakfast. Kathy was beyond wonderful. She couldn't do enough for her guests and went the extra mile to help me out when I had a very bad reaction to some sort of insect bite I had picked up in France. The property is immaculately clean and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. There is a lovely garden you can relax in and enjoy. The breakfast was great.
Just note the property is a bit isolated so plan your evenings accordingly. There are loads of restaurants in Ypres and some in the local villages.

We had a really warm welcome from Christoph, who explained where everything was and how it all worked. He ensured we had everything we needed including a fresh bowl of water for the dog and a great recommendation for dinner. There was a kitchenette with various options such as drinks and snacks on the mini bar however coffee was included in the stay price. The room was super comfy and clean. We had the sauna room but did not use it. We had a great stay whilst visiting Tyne Cot, a shame it was only for one night. It was like a home from home experience and we would book again if in the area.

Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of choice. Really good. Rooms were clean and tidy with excellent showers. The owner made a couple of modifications to the room adding in foldaway based on the requests that we sent her. She was an excellent host and booked us taxis to get us into Ypres for the Saturday evening. The self service bar was much appreciated after we got back from a night out in Ypres :-). A really top class venue, nice and relaxing.
