Rooms are spacious and cosy, very-well insulated against cold and noise. Exceedingly friendly staff greeted us and helped with our requests. Breakfast buffet definitely exceeded the expectations. 20-25 minutes drive to Brugge center. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an elegant old hotel with nicely updated rooms. Very calm, comfortable. The bed was great. Bus stop right outside the front gate which goes directly to Bruges. Owner made fresh eggs for us to order in the morning.

Maldegem has all that you really need, nice restaurants, A la Carte and Fast food, supermarkets, petrol stations as well. Not much in the way of shopping that we could see but probably just didn't find them!

A lovely quirky place. Karel met us on arrival and explained everything. The rental is a converted loft on Karel's cider and vineyard and included a bottle of his own cider with on arrival which was very welcome. Maldegem town is about 40 mins walk away - quite a busy road but v straight forward and was easy to catch a bus to Brugges for a day sightseeing. Really not sure why some reviews complain about lack of breakfast as the rental is just for the room which was well equipped and perfect for our needs.
Lovely setting, very clean, didn’t arrive until early hours of the morning due to ferry delays but I didn’t have to worry as communicated back to me promptly that they had made provision for my late check in, I have had other hotels in the past cancel a booking because I couldn’t arrive before a certain time as they had no such system in place.
The house is comfortable and very cosy !
The garden is really nice too. And we could park a few meters from the house in a private parking, that was very practical.
The house is located in the nice city center of Maldegem, and a lot of shops, bars and restaurants are located closed. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you Liesbeth !
Loved the small scale hotel. It’s clean, the beds are great. The breakfast was lovely. It’s close to both Gent (20 mins) and Antwerp (35 mins) by car. Highly recommendable❤️
