A very spacious apartment, very clean, equipped with all necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable, we had plenty of room, bathroom was also perfect with a very good shower, neighborhood is quiet. We parked on the street, there was always enough space for our car.

Excellent option for a stay in Binche. Although it is located outside of town, it is meticulously maintained and has all amenities. Most important, it is quiet. We would also like to mention that Madame Marianne is an excellent host, breakfast is absolutely great and the B&B is a great place for bicyclists as you can park bikes directly in front of tiny house in Madame Marianne’s backyard. Two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽!

Although a town of fairly humble origins (agglomerated villages) it has a UNESCO world heritage site : the Four Lifts. I recommend cycling along the canal and admiring them. When following the canal, there is also, at Thieu, a magnificent view on the new Lift (which is gargantuan).
There are some decent restaurants in the centre of the town.
We booked an apartment so it was larger than a typical hotel room. Were able to cook a simple meal using hob and microwave. Good to have a sofa to relax on after long day on the road and small table to eat at. Plenty of free parking. Very quiet.
