The room exceeded expectations. Even though it is in a small and old 'city', Hotel Des Comtes perfectly encapsulates the warm coziness of an old town yet still balances it with modern touches. The room was super comfortable with toasty beds. The bathroom was more modern. The room is clean throughout.
The check in process was very smooth and fast. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.

Everything was fine, with the exception of the mattresses, which really need replacing, as they're compressed, and I assume they are quite old. They were very uncomfortable.
