Very nice what appears to be a converted barn , very friendly owner who speaks perfect English . Large room with a big bathroom . Very quiet with plenty of parking and a good breakfast .

Seema and staff was always making sure i was ok . The location was amazing plenty to and loads of shops. I stayed here as I was getting Surgery again by the amazing Dr Oelbrandt. This hotel made my recovery alot easier as it had everything I needed to make it a pleasant stay. Thank you 😊

Our friendly host was flexible regarding check-in time. The flat is located above a café, which is open only until 6 p.m., hence it is calm in the evenings. We stayed in the flat on the 1st floor, which was spacious, clean, modernly and well equipped. Parking is possible on the nearby street. Most of the days, we managed to find a spot within 1 minute of walking distance. Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp and Brussels are all well reachable on the motorway/expressway. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Flanders.
We visit to see family. It is a small town in Belgium with good cycling facilities, pedestrian areas and well-organised centre, but the shopping area is dying and there was very little activity around the streets even on a Saturday night.
The Sports Bar had a good selection of beer and a decent crowd. The woman behind the bar was brilliant.
Taxis don't seem to be available. We walked.

Seema absolutely makes the Notarishuis the great experience that it is, she is the most pleasant and helpful person you could wish to have in a hotel. She could not have done more to help us, even accommodating our dog for a late night tiddle in the garden when dogs are otherwise not allowed. However there is a park less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel that is great for dogs.
Notarishuis is a very attractive building with a beautiful garden. Breakfast was great and again Seema was happy to get us anything we needed.
It's a very clean hotel, check in was easy the lady very helpful. All doors open with an App you need to download, cross your fingers the internet does not disappear. The breakfast is ok. There's no restaurant in this hotel which I didn't know, closest is a good restaurant near a golf park, but you have to leave the hotel. The rooms are spacy and clean, good bed.
