I am here for the third time. All my expectations were met. There are new utensils in the kitchen which makes the place even more favourable, especially because we see that the host really takes care of the place.

Super friendly and flexible host. They helped us with advice on the best route to get there, we arrived VERY late and one person did wait just for us. Also, very flexible in accommodating special needs regarding the rooms. Amazing landscape and, again, great people. I didn't try the rafting but from the look of it, I guess it is amazing. Will do next time.

Missed opportunity
The lady who works there was very kind. The location is scenic as the apartment overlooks the river. The river sounds is amazing.
The outside design looks nice as well.
However, the exterior suggests that the owners did not know what to do with the space there.
The apartment comprises of two floors. The first floor contains kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with double bed. There also Air conditioner on the first floor.
The second floor contains 6 sofa beds without air conditioner. I mention this as you really need it on the second floor. Since the building is designed as a lighthouse, it has windows 360 degrees, which means it gets very hot and you have no privacy.
The entire place is visible from the busy main road. You can’t even change your clothes on the second floor.
To resolve the privacy issue the owner used aluminium foil to cover the windows, which made the place look awfully depressing. You can hear the lovely sound of river but all you see is aluminium foil on windows.
There is no air conditioner on the second floor, where you need it the most! Moreover, it is not possible to open windows for fresh air due to enormous wasps, hornets and bumblebees continuously flying in. A simple curtains and fly nets would’ve resolved this. I don't know if renting this place is a side thing for the owners that causes the lack of care.
The light bulbs used are depressing too. God forbid if you need to find something in the night.
Also, the owner directed us to a parking about 60meters away from the property. However, the car park turned out to be a playground with rocks falling off the hill next to it.
The property is a missed opportunity due to owner's lack of knowledge or willingness to set up an apartment which is why we have to rate it so low.
We came late in the afternoon to check in, otherwise we would not have stayed here.
Nice town center for a short walk. Many adventure sports all around. We visited Tito's bunker. The roads in the town were jammed - some people park in the streets and others can't drive around them.
We ate at Restoran Neretva - it was tasty local food for good price - with a view of the river and the bridge.
The whole town has predominantly Muslim population so it's not easy to buy a beer for example.

A lovely town nestled in the mountains.
A lovely town nestled in the mountains. The history is somewhat tragic and many people are still living with that memory. There are some buildings that show the pockmarks from shrapnel or bullets and are a reminder of what happened in this area. There are a number of shops in town and these are adequate for general needs. Sarajevo for major shopping trips and Mostar for wider sightseeing are both an hour away by car and Konjic is on the railway line between these two centres. Some lovely bread shops and some shopkeepers speak English. A lovely pizza restaurant in town and others serving more traditional food.

Nice small Bosnian town, for spending one day or two.
Nice small Bosnian town, for spending one day or two.
Rafting on the Neretva is super cool.
Tito's bunker was a little bit disappointing (very little information about Yugoslavian / Cold war / Bosnian history - as visitor of this bunker, i was not so interested in the modern arts installations...).
Perfect for a day trip by train, with 1..2 nights stay from Mostar or Sarajevo.
