Nice and modern apartment located in the nice mountain village Tusila, perfect starting point for us to hike in the region. The valley the village is located in is very calm and beautiful which we enjoyed a lot. In addition, the hosts were very welcoming and put in a lot of effort to make sure we have everything we need.
The apartment is quite new and the hosts are only starting up so do not expect everything to be perfect but based on the vibe of the apartment & village, we enjoyed this hidden gem a lot.

We were looking for a place immersed in nature, preferably among the mountains, as we love hiking. A place where we could relax in silence, go hiking, and connect with the locals. If you're looking for the same thing, then you've found it! The rooms are new, extremely clean, bright, with a splendid view of the mountains. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms have private bathrooms.
Just a 10-minute drive away, you'll find beautiful hikes. Unfortunately, our stay was limited, and we only managed to do two hikes that we highly recommend: the descent into the canyon and Mount Vito. I won't tell you more because the owner will provide you with all the necessary information for these and other splendid hikes!
The owners are a delightful local family, always ready and available to help and provide information. As soon as we arrived, they brought us a bottle of freshly milked milk! They offered us the opportunity to prepare breakfast or lunch and/or dinner at a very reasonable price.
We had breakfast at their home with blueberry jam, homemade cheeses, bread, and butter. Even the milk was freshly milked from the local cows. Flavors I hadn't tasted since I was a child!
In conclusion, our stay was wonderful, and if you too are looking for beautiful nature, genuine people, and flavors from the past, I assure you, you've found it!

Magical setting with awesome hosts who bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. Even when we ran short of cash! I just wish there were more people like the Umuljani locals in the world.

The property host was very welcoming and friendly. The property itself was lovely, cosy and homely. Our bedroom had as much space as is needed, with a spacious en suite bathroom. The breakfast room has spectacular views over the valley with traditional local mountain food options available both for breakfast and dinner, and other food options available locally.
There are many options for walks and hikes straight from the door, of any length and which can be tailored for any ability. The range of different scenery within a short distance – from lush green valleys to rugged mountains – is amazing.
There are only very limited public transport options in the region (ask the locals what they are!) but we did manage to reach the property without our own car.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here, and the hospitality provided to us.
