The only really good thing about this stay was the LOCATION. It is located in between mountains next to the river, very peaceful and good spot to stay. It is not so far from city center. The surrroundings of the hotel was very well maintained, clean and pleasant to walk.

Very modern, clean, and affordable hotel. The breakfast was ok but for the price, it's excellent. Mountains are within hiking distance and Ilisu is just a short taxi ride away. The reception staff were particularly kind and helpful, giving great recommendations, booking tours and taxis for me, and coordinating buses. Definitely recommend!!

My BIG – goes to Booking.com who keep listing me as "Mr." in my reviews, instead of "Jeffrey". I also am totally unable to find a 'real human' to inform about this at all. I always take the trouble to write a sincere review. I will not take this trouble again until they can give me a proper name - as they seem to do with everyone else.

It seems this place Qax is not so popular for the non...
It seems this place Qax is not so popular for the non Azerbaijani tourist. It is not so popular like nearby Qabala or Sheki . That is the advantage of Qax. So it is not overcrowded place. So one can feel and enjoy the nature peacefully. The mountains, River are amazing to see.
Ilisu waterfalls is must see if you are in Qax. But you may face the language problem if don't know the Azerbaijani language. Most of the people can not speak or understand English.

Qax is a small city in north-west Azerbaijan.
Qax is a small city in north-west Azerbaijan. It has a relatively small city center with no shopping malls or big hypermarkets. It is comprised of a main city and two or three small villages very close to the city. It is a perfect spot for family, quality time relaxation all-year round. No matter which season you visit, you will definitely enjoy. Also people are very friendly here like in most of Azerbaijan. Highly recommended.

It was my first trip to this wonderfull city and i spent their 3 unbelievable nights.The city is full of history,ancient church from the period of Caucas Albanian empire,beautifull nature with amazing waterfalls,hospitable people,delicious cousine and more more.My notion about thia city : Its better to visit ones.
