We enjoyed a superb stay at Serene by the Sea to celebrate our honeymoon. The family, and staff, made us feel very welcome with their friendly and pleasant approach. The breakfast is substantial with delicious omelettes made by the excellent chef, Elise. Bread, ham and cheese toasted sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee are also available for breakfast. We enjoyed a private, romantic candlelit dinner for two on the beach made by chef Elise who made sure we had a memorable experience. The food served was outstanding. It is nice to have a private beach area with comfortable loungers overlooking clear, turquoise-hued Caribbean waters. This makes for excellent snorkelling opportunities with the equipment provided. Serene by the Sea is located in a quiet neighbourhood with a choice of local restaurants and shops within walking distance. Aruba Aloe shampoo and conditioner are provided in the en-suite bathrooms.

We didn’t get breakfast or any meals. We were told that meals were not included, even though we spent over $3,000.00 for the week’s stay. Our bed linen were stained a bit, but room was comfortable. No one ever came to change our bath towels or clean the bathroom. We did have extra towels to use, but they were not freshly laundered.

This property is very charming, the room was clean and as advertised. One of the most unique stays I have had while in Aruba. The hostess Ms. Willeke, even made us breakfasts to go since we had an early flight. Her attentiveness an friendliness made me feel right at home and I really felt a sense of tranquility while I stayed at this property.
