Yamba is a beautiful town. Easy to walk around the main streets. Foreshore is lovely to walk along. Ate at a fabulous restaurant called El Ocaso, food was exceptional as well as the service. I think it closes during certain off peak times though. The Bowlo too is a great place to eat. Their Coffin Bay oysters were the best we've eaten anywhere!!

very nice seaside place to stop for a short visit, especially during winter. During the warmer months it would be a good beach holiday destination.
Plenty of cafes and eateries and the local pub is friendly.

Yamba is a very pretty coastal town with a lot to do.
Yamba is a very pretty coastal town with a lot to do. We walked everywhere and stopped for lunch at some lovely cafes or you can grab takeaway and eat at the picnic tables in the park near the beaches
Ferry across to Iluka for a walk around the town followed by a nice lunch with a glass of wine before catching the ferry back to Yamba is a must.
We stayed at The Sands Resort in an apartment with a view of Pipi Beach which has a pool, spa and BBQ Area.

When i visited Yamba is was hammering down with rain which i guess is unusual. It made my short stay a bit bland as the beach was off and the town was very wet. However, i noticed two very busy restaurants, a nice little collection of shops and takeaways. a few drinking holes etc. Id say when the sun is shining it looks a 100% more appealing.
Im told the surfing is great but not my thing. wortha visit if youre a surfer or just travelling up the coast. lots of waterways, pelicand, wildlife.
Its just off the highway so easy access and when youre there you feel like youre in the middle of nowhere so that works!
Worth a trip for 2-4 days in my opinion.

Golf Club offers a championship layout and the bar and eatery ate excellent.
A visit to the boutique brewery - eatery (The Wobbly Chook) is a must.

Yamba is the most delightful place, I would live there if I could. Everything is so convenient. Restaurants are great, and I very rarely come home without a new pair of shoes - the shoe shop is excellent.
lovely one night stay Room was perfect, kids loved the pool and the staff were really helpful and friendly. really good shower and beds were comfortable. kitchen was perfect for what we needed. Free washing machine and dryer was helpful. Staff recommended Yamba Shores Tavern for dinner and it was really good for the kids great playground good food and well priced
The Aston Motel at Yamba is a very pleasant place to stay. It is quiet and the reception staff are very personable. The motel is close th Yamba's shops and the bowling club is a short walk away for meals.
Entire atmosphere is amazing. Location, staff and restaurant is exceptional. Always stay during our trip to Yamba. Looking forward to our next trip. Facilitates cater for everyone.
Location was excellent. Close to town and to Yamba's sightseeing. Everything was walking distance. The Boathouse was superb and extremely comfortable. Great bed!
