We loved the beautiful veranda and the amazing views into the forest from all windows. It's getting a little old, but we still had everything we needed and would happily come back.

We booked last minute on Booking.com and the photos completely didn’t represent the accommodation we ended up in which was basically a chalet not a hotel room.

Location great, but front staff was not helpful, did not know if room had walk in shower or bath? Door did not lock, with or without card, had it fixed once then happened again! I know things happen! The room was nice overall, the older gentleman was doing his best to accommodate us

It’s a lovely place to spend a few nights. We had a very tastefully decorated room complete with a large bathtub, dual sinks and a shower. Our room was immaculate with high quality bedding and we had the use of the beautifully landscaped outdoor area. There is also a large relaxing common area in the lodge. The owner heartily greeted us at the door and advised us to call if there was anything we needed. Lots of thought has been put into making a stay at Lanterns Retreat - just perfect.

Stableford Cottage was a pleasant place to stay. The location on the Dunsborough Golf Course was stunning.
Loved the scenery. Everything closed by 5pm so you need to make sure you’re eating/drinking/shopping early.
We enjoyed Eagle Bay Brewery. Swings & roundabouts had a great wine selection/tasting. We arrived too late to enjoy the Sunday session & the vegan pizza was disappointing.

Yallingup is so central to all the beautiful beaches and towns. Additionally there are so many Vineyards to explore. This would have to be the best place to set up camp and travel to the rest of the southern towns.

Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit.
Great beach, Caves are also a must to visit. Nice to be able to go to Caves House, or drive down to Dunsborough for more eating/food options, and a fine location to base yourself if wanting to go to some of the local wineries.
We also tried the Goanna Bush Cafe which was about a 10 minute drive. Lovely food and service. Recommended.

Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City.
Yallingup is a perfect escape from the City. Lots of greenery, lots of birds and lots of fresh beautiful air. The beach is a stroll from the apartments. The balcony was just amazing. Yallingup is a short car ride away from fantastic scenery, eateries and activities. Yallingup is a gem hidden away from most huslte and bustle. A MUST stay holiday destination. There is nothing to avoid, it is all fantastic. Dunsborough is a short drive away, with every eatery that you could want. Lots of Caves and so many different ocean drives from Yallingup, 10 minute to 20 minutes by car. Yallingup Beach is a stroll away.

Yallingup town site in winter is very quiet with very little retail/cafe services available. It is more active in summer. The townsite was not our prime destination. There are two nearby resorts that offer restaurants and cafes along with deli items. More extensive food provisions and town services can be found at nearby Dunnsborough. About 10 minutes drive away.

Our deluxe 1 bed apartment was superb - spacious, clean, well equipped kitchen, large bathroom with walk in shower and jacuzzi bath, very comfortable bed, nice outdoor terrace with view of the gardens. The hotel is in a great location with a lovely garden and the nearest beach is a 15 minute stroll through the gardens and then down a quiet residential street.
The hotel is a beautiful art deco building full of history and set in lovely gardens. It is only a short walk to yallingup beach. The breakfast was very good and we also had evening meal at the hotel one night which was also excellent.
We loved the price of the clean and comfortable new cabin and watching the sunset from our wee deck.
We walked through the short nature trail to Caves House Hotel.
