The lock box was already set and the hosts gave very clear instruction as to how to use it. The bed was very comfortable and I had everything I needed to cook my own meals if I wished. The location is quiet and the private parking could not have been closer. I'd happily stay there again.

Wynyard has magnificent scenery close by, great beach at Boat Harbour, friendly people, close to Burnie, not far to Stanley, great drive to Dip Falls. Behind Burnie there is another wonderful spot to visit called Fern Glade.

Lovely little town. Friendly locals. Great coffee. I enjoyed the Ford display at the Visitor Information Centre and have been recommending it to everyone. We will go back their again next time we travel to Tasmania. We had a very good dinner at the Pub across the road. Wynyard is an easy town to get around.

Wynyard is located on the Inglis River and is a quiet little spot with plenty to do. Wynyard provides a great base for all sorts of day trips to Table Cape; Boat Harbour; Sisters Beach; Stanley; Burnie; the west coast and inland to various waterfalls i.e. Dip & Guide. Lots of opportunity to walk along the beach, fossil bluff exploration, cycling, fishing and many other activities and great food outlet choices. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Supermarkets close by with all manner of other retail outlets to cover all your needs

A great little town to spend some leisure time in. Op shops, nice eating places., good variey of shops. Scenic drives close by. Scenic location. A lovely boardwalk and seaside walking track is great. A good variety of accomondation available. Ladybug Pizza and Waterfront hotel had good food. The Sunday markets are only on 1st and 3rd weekends so plan your trip around them.
If visiting Table Cape, don't bother doing the walk between the light house and Lookout if you are expecting great views. There is vegetation along the walk.. much better just to drive to each location unless you are fit and don't mind walking. It is loose gravel and slippery in places.

A lovely town, beaches nearby. Easy to get around, everything one needs for a holiday; walks on the beaches or by the river; fishing spots, activities on the river. Close to Table Cape, an ideal town to stay to view the tulips in Spring.

Enjoyed the old style village feel to the community. was a pleasure to walk the streets, and soak in the place
Had fish and chips from the river front facility, about two mins walk from our accomodation. Excellent food.
Had breakfast at the Bolt historic restaurant cafe. delightful and very interesting.
Went to visitors centre, very entertaining and men enjoyed the old car exhibition.
Lots to see around the area.

Bright and well furnished accommodation, even down to the beautifully painted pictures of local sights on the wall. We appreciated the extra touches of snacks and the high quality bathroom soaps and shampoos. The owner was a super host and was exceptionally helpful and we thank her for the her extra special efforts in helping us resolve a problem.
Wynyard is a great location and highly recommended a visit to this accommodation.
My stay at the Wharf Hotel, Wynyard was primarily the close proximity to the airport, 20 minute walk or taxi. My stay there was good and I enjoyed my meal in the dining room. The view from my room looked over the river, I did not do a walk over to the beach but it certainly looked like a lovely walk
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the cabins were great and the kids loved the pool. Great location too, short drive to Wynyard shops and right across the road from the beach.
