Located in a central location off a main street with lots of cafes in the area. Staff were helpful and made you feel welcome. Easy to access from the street in after hours. Perfect for a one night stay!

Macquarie 4 star was good for me as it was close to amenities, had a good vibe and my room was quite and looked out over the creek. It was nice to wake up and see all the paddlers and people enjoying the water. The staff was excellent too and helped me with my requests. I will definitely stay there again.

Warners Bay is located on beautiful Lake Macquarie and has all the amenities a traveller could need. Easy walking trails along the lakeside and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to other areas of Newcastle and is a very pleasant place to stay.

Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel from previous guest in the room hair and urine on bathroom floor hand prints on wall and shower glass
Bed pushed up against wall allowing access to one side only. Over all the room was dirty . the Noise was bad with other guest and children making noise well after 11pm at night should have families with children away from other guest with out noise children very poor management not helpfully at all owner was advised of issues but no response or no follow up from management or staff.

We stayed at Pippis on the Point (Speers Point) Lake Mac is amazing. We had lunch at the Warner's Bay Hotel. TIP: Try the Chilli Crab, The wife had Thai beef salad also nice! The Chilli crab was the best I've had in years.

An easy drive from Sydney, Warners Bay offers lots. The Lake area offers fishing and watercraft activities, the Esplanade is great for a picnic, bbq, bike/run etc...possibilities are endless. There are a lot if nice restaurants and shops to duck into as well. Over all, very family and dog friendly place.
The location is perfect especially for my ages group (early 20’s) with a great rate for nightly stay plus a bistro and bar right down the hallway and dullboys right next door it’s a gateway to a weekend of fun! My partner and I stayed here to travel out to the Hunter and enjoyed the local attractions and hotel facilities at night! Amazing!
The room was very clean and spacious, at night it was quiet and dark and the bed was very comfortable one of the best hotel beds I've had the pleasure of sleeping on. The staff were excellent and the ability to head up to the club for dinner or a drink or breakfast in the morning is very convenient.
Our room was very nice and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. The location was excellent, with Warners Bay Village a pleasant walk down the hill.
Loved every single thing!! We travel 50% so this hotel stood out for its excellence. Too much to list, honestly, this is my new favouritefor this region.
