Cornucopia hotel, hotel in Wallaroo

The property was in a great location for me while visiting area. The room was a standard single which is all I required and I didn’t mind having to share shower and toilet facilities. I was lucky I was in room number 12 and someone else was staying directly above, the bar said the music was a bit loud and went on a little long but I was not affected by that.

Wallaroo Marina Executive Apartments, hotel in Wallaroo

The Wallaroo Marina Executive Apartments feature two rooms located in a building complex located in Wallaroo.

We booked through booking . com. Received a text msg from Loraine. The key is in the locker with a code , level 1 room 4 at 12.30. So we arrived at 3 only to open the doors to a dirty room , bed no made, towels on the floor in bathroom , big bag of toilet rolls on kitchen bench. Very disappointing. So I tried contacting Lorraine's mobile and left messages several times without any reply, only to receive a phone call later that evening. She apologised, saying the owner stayed last night and obviously it hadn't been cleaned. So I called reception and the lovely lady there said she had the room next door free for us if we would like to take a look and have that one which was exactly the sane type of room but beautifully clean and a lot cheaper. So I told Loraine that's what we are doing and would like a full refund on the room we originally paid for.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful apartment on the marina at Wallaroo. The location was excellent and the views were absolutely stunning.. the apartment was exceptionally clean and well maintained and had every comfort of home that you could expect and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a wonderful night or nights to unwind as the atmosphere looking over the water from the balcony, lounge and bedroom were incredible.. we give our host Loraine 5 magnificent stars and look forward to booking the apartment regularly in the near future. Kind regards Wayne and Lisa 🙂

Wallaroo Marina Apartments, hotel in Wallaroo

Situated on the Wallaroo Marina waterfront, in the tallest holiday apartment tower on the Yorke Peninsula, Wallaroo Marina Apartments offer spectacular water views over North Beach.

The Marina apartments are located in a very pleasant location at the entrance to the marina and close to the esplanade. The jetty is within walking distance. We were greeted cheerfully upon arrival for our one-night stay. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. We made use of the ale house next door for a well-provided dinner. There are also some excellent eateries in the town centre, although it is not within walking distance.

It's a SA country town. There are nice views of the harbour. It's got an interesting history and some old architecture. There's evidence of the old copper industry. It's a big wheat terminal port.

Great beaches. You can drive your car on them.

Great beaches. You can drive your car on them. Main street was good with everything you need eg supermarket, hotel, bakery. Good location to use as a base. The hotel next to Wallaroo Marina Apartments was really good. Seafood platter for 2 was great and they have happy hour during the week 4 - 6pm. We stayed in 2 different apartments....3 and 12 priced $245 and $175 respectively. 3 was definitely the standout for us.

The beaches are easy access and great for families, we ate at the coopers ale house marine apartments, restaurant food was great but been New Year I thought they could have decorated the tables or room. The Coffee Barn Gelateria Moonta best Gelate I have tasted Stopped off for coffee at the The Shores eatery and would have stopped for something to eat if I had time the atmosphere and friendly staff was good. the place had only been opened 10 days. A place to look out for Yes I would recommend Walleroo alot of development going on will be interesting to see if the place gets to big and loses it country charm

A beautiful seaside town with history abound.

A beautiful seaside town with history abound. Many lovely and quaint pubs, with some having accommodation. We spent time having lunch and dinners at a variety of places. Our family favorite is The Anglers Inn. It has very friendly staff, wonderful facilities and delicious well priced food. Even as strangers to the place we were greeted warmly by staff and patrons alike. A wonderful and peaceful place, it's enjoyable to walk around taking in the sights of Wallaroo. We have caught a few squid of off the jetty as have many others. Wallaroo is a very clean township that has grown a lot in the past few years. With a new Marina and expansion of North Beach giving many more places to stay. Two well developed caravan parks with fabulous facilities a few BnB's and many holiday shacks. Wallaroo is close to Kadina and Moonta giving you many choices for a day out. I want to live in Wallaroo!

Revamped Queen size Room was very comfortable and affordable and clean. Felt really at home. Had 3 meals in hotel eatery, not 1 complaint. Everything was very fresh and enjoyable. Between my wife and myself had 6 different types of meals and we enjoyed every bite. Front bar barman was outstanding and dining room staff fantastic, especially the manager lady . Could not go out of their way any more than they did.

Great spot to stay, the view was excellent and the hosts communication was exceptional. Room itself was great, and although I put emphasis on the bed and shower as I see a lot of hotels and accommodation, and both were fantastic.
