Wagga Wagga is a very pleasant town with plenty of facilities such as shopping centres, restaurants, a modern cultural precinct and the Botanical Garden. I visit Wagga Wagga to see my godson, a member of the Army Band Corps, who is stationed at nearby Kapooka. I attend the March Out of recruits, mainly to hear the band play. Always a delight to see a combination of well practised military drill accompanied by stirring music.

Always love visiting Wagga even if really quickly like this time. Was the first time I got to see the RAAF Museum and it was great, would loved to have spent longer. So many things to see and do that even a person who has been there many times can find something new or beloved to do Food and accomodation at Sportsman's Hotel was excellent. Lots of nice memories of spending time there n the past come from visiting again.

The Art Glass gallery is a must-see.

The Art Glass gallery is a must-see. It's right next to the Art Gallery, which is also good. All of this area has been given a big makeover and is quite special. Wagga also has fine Botanical Gardens but the standout is the free Zoo and Aviary, including a free-flight enclosure where birds land on your shoulders and generally seek your attention. I wish I'd had the time to see more!

An overnight trip whilst travelling to Melbourne so short and sweet. I liked the main shopping street and found an authentic Thai restaurant called G. Thai for some take-away dinner. Also enjoyed the Wagga Beach in the early morning - beautiful spot on the Murrumbidgee River with a walking track I wish I'd had more time to walk along.

I went to play in a Croquet Tournament.

I went to play in a Croquet Tournament. The Croquet facilities were exceptional and the people of Wagga Wagga looked after us all extremely well. I will be returning next year for the Tournament. As my time was spent on the Croquet Lawns I did not get to do anything else. I did find a great coffee shop in the Sturt Mall - outside Big W.

The property was very cute and we loved it instantly. It was like coming home. The host was exceptionally accommodating and everything was ready well before our arrival time and even said we could arrive earlier as the property had been made up. The host answered questions very promptly and nothing was an issue. Very close to town and amenities as needed. Would highly recommend staying at such a beautiful home.

Nice sized room and location near the river. I forgot my chargers and drove back a few hours later and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly and walked me back to the room to let me in as my pass code had expired. Also - no single use plastics such as the little milk containers found in so many hotels - well done
