It's part of the way through renovation. It's very promising - though the rooms are very small. I'll be interested in going back again sometimes to see how it's shaped up.

We took a drift boat with Tom's Outdoors and would thoroughly recommend Pat as a guide. Had a Wonderful relaxing day on the Tumut River learning Fly fishing and even though it was catch and release we caught 5 Trout and released them and learnt about fly fishing and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the relaxing time on the river.
Would recommend the pubs as good places to eat.

The walk down by the Tumut River was an unexpected and beautiful surprise. There were ducks and many other birds plus I discovered hundreds of bats nesting in the trees. Tumut has a beautiful public pool adjacent to a newly built children’s park with bbqs as well.

I felt in love with Tumut .
I felt in love with Tumut .I am pleasantly surprised how much Tumut has to offer.I walk through the city a lot and found 4 different churches,so many shops and restaurants...post office,banks, schools, museum...etc..
But what impress me the most are parks and walkways..I have been in all and my favourite is Riverside walk ..and the Tumut river is amazing.Been to wetlands too...so many birds..
I truly love this city...and there is plenty things to see and visit in surrounding.We been to Adelong ,love it..such a beautiful place to go...
Been to other places to ...well it's just great place

The motel was clean & attractive & everything we hoped for. The kitchen was beautifully equipped. The town was pretty & friendly. We enjoyed the Autumn Leaf Falling Festival & the beautiful rolling hills of the countryside.

There is plenty to see in Tumut and the surrounding towns. The Falling Leaf Festival is fantastic with a street parade and Comedy Gala at the beautiful old theatre and plenty of other attractions happening over the Falling Leaf Festival weekend. Tumut is a very tidy town full of friendly people and a relaxed atmosphere. This was my ninth "long weekend" visit to Tumut and definitely will not be my last.

Local broom factory interesting to visit and watch the handmade process.
Short drive to Batlow ( great for apples and apple cider), Talbingo ( site of Tumut 2 power station, fabulous views of the dam from top of the lookout).
Great central location to pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Excellent self check in process, clear communication and instructions from hotel. Great parking. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery/cutlery, kettle, microwave etc Loved the rear balcony for a relaxing evening meal. Highly recommend
The beds were very comfortable. The shower was fantastic - heaps of pressure and the water was nice and warm. The rooms were spotless and very clean. We really enjoyed our overnight stay over here and would stay again if visiting Tumut.
The light breakfast provided as part of the package was a great quick start to the day.
Heating and blankets good - Tumut can be chilly in the evenings at the time of year we went.
