Clean, very tidy new home. Fresh white linen on bed and kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet peaceful street. We had a car and the town centre was very close. Air con was a bit noisy and could do with fixing the noise but it didn’t spoil our visit. I would suggest putting more lounge chairs in the dining area as we spent most of our time there and the settee only fits 2 people and we were a party of 3.

A very nice Country town, and the local business owners were very decent people. Had that real country charm. I chose the wrong motel re pet hairs however I have stayed in Tumut previously and not had that problem. A very scenic town.

A lovely picturesque town.
A lovely picturesque town. Strolling through Pioneer park along the river was such a delightful experience! We even got the chance to pet horses.
Junction park was a lovely spot for swimming, fishing and picnicking.
Cooling off at Adelong falls was another highlight of our trip.
We enjoyed our meals at - The Oriental hotel, Tumut river brewery, The Coffee Pedaler. our stay was only for 2nights. Would definitely want to go back.

Loved the tree lined town with verandahs in front of the shops. So protection from the sun or rain whilst shopping.
Loved the pedestrian walkway along the Tumut river and the numerous tree filled parks in Tumut.
The Pie in the Sky bakery in the Main Street makes great pies and sandwiches.

We took a drift boat with Tom's Outdoors and would thoroughly recommend Pat as a guide. Had a Wonderful relaxing day on the Tumut River learning Fly fishing and even though it was catch and release we caught 5 Trout and released them and learnt about fly fishing and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the relaxing time on the river.
Would recommend the pubs as good places to eat.

The walk down by the Tumut River was an unexpected and beautiful surprise. There were ducks and many other birds plus I discovered hundreds of bats nesting in the trees. Tumut has a beautiful public pool adjacent to a newly built children’s park with bbqs as well.

I felt in love with Tumut .
I felt in love with Tumut .I am pleasantly surprised how much Tumut has to offer.I walk through the city a lot and found 4 different churches,so many shops and restaurants...post office,banks, schools, museum...etc..
But what impress me the most are parks and walkways..I have been in all and my favourite is Riverside walk ..and the Tumut river is amazing.Been to wetlands too...so many birds..
I truly love this city...and there is plenty things to see and visit in surrounding.We been to Adelong ,love it..such a beautiful place to go...

We as 2 adults and 2kids expected to stay in a minimum 4 beds sized which is one room. However, when we got there, the manager have us 2 rooms with kitchenette and additional 2 beds. We could cook some simple healthy food in the kitchenette after unhealthy restaurant food during the trip. We were so impressed with size of the room and we've changed our itinerary to stay another night at Tumut Valley Motel in the end. Very happy with their offer!
Great central location to pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarkets. Excellent self check in process, clear communication and instructions from hotel. Great parking. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery/cutlery, kettle, microwave etc Loved the rear balcony for a relaxing evening meal. Highly recommend
