Lovely place, so clean, generous sized rooms, super comfy bed and all the amenities we needed. Would highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again.
The Black Bull Motel has been recently renovated. The Motel is only a 5-minute walk from the Traralgon CBD. We now have a EV charger for the convenience of our guests to re-charge their vehicles.

It was a pleasure meeting Paul, the owner. We were running late for our check-in, so I called the reception to let them know we wouldn’t make it on time. Paul kindly arranged a late check-in and was incredibly helpful over the phone. When we arrived at the motel, everything was already set up for us. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The next morning, we went to the breakfast room for the complimentary breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised by Paul’s warm hospitality and friendly company. It’s clear that everything at The Black Bull’s Motel is thoughtfully planned with the guests’ needs in mind.
Traralgon is a beautiful little town. It is only 45 - 50 mins to Tarra-Bulga National Park & Waterfall. 40 -50 mins to Gippsland Art Gallery in Sale. It is also close to Walhalla. Overall experience was very relaxing and I will definitely come back and spend more time in this region.

It's a pretty town during the day. It's questionable at night. The locals are interesting. You can tell who's not from Traralgon. It's a great place for a one night stop over of travelling through.

We were there for a 40th birthday, we decided to make a weekend of it and toured East Gippsland (Maffco and Goodland Brewery which both were great). We then went out to dinner in Traralgon called PHO NAM VIETNAMESE EATERY, then danced the night away at MOMO.

Sadly tourists are not really catered for.
Sadly tourists are not really catered for. Brochures were beautifully presented but when we arrived at the locations they were either not open or had very poor facilities / or nothing to "look at"

Staff was really accomendating when we requested ground floor units. The rooms are pretty spacious, comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom and towels. They use zero co shampoo, it smells and washes really well. The counter in bathroom doubles perfect as a nappy changing table, for anyone who cares :p
The whole family loved this $150 motel, even better than some fancy hotels we stayed in before.
The house is very spacious and clean - good for a large family or group of friends. While the house is not walking distance to the town centre, it is only 7-8 minutes away by car. The house is in a good, quiet location with a park/reserve nearby. I would definitely book it again when in Traralgon.
The decor of the house and the rooms were amazing and our room was greatly spacious. The pool was clean and beautiful. Rooms had great views and the tennis court was a huge plus for us.
The location was nice and very close to the Traralgon town which was very helpful.
Fine reception.
Coming into a huge room with great fresh bed(s) with good length.
All clean and comfy.
Great shower, strong water and good height for me as a Dutchie (1.90m).
Locationwise there couldn’t be any better place in Traralgon.
