The staff were very helpful especially as one of us was very late in arriving, they ensured dinner was organised and we felt comfortable even though we were eating late on a Sunday night. Much appreciated.

Great location and room was good size, comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. Dog friendly and the lovely staff member I spoke to gave a list of dog friendly restaurants locally. Very happy with our accommodation and would definitely stay here again.

There’s so much to do in Tamworth!
There’s so much to do in Tamworth! Beautiful cafes, lovely shops, and gorgeous facilities for the kids (Tamworth Regional Playground is INCREDIBLE and next to a delicious indoor/outdoor restaurant- Hopscotch). The theatre is cute and has a good selection of movies/shows. Tamworth is so much more than just the Golden Guitar! Papa Luigi’s Restaurant is a MUST do, absolutely divine. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, you HAVE to hit up the Spilt Milk ice cream shop. They have the best flavours, and you can top off your cold treat with a drizzle from the Nutella fountain!

Tamworth is a small city with tens of thousands people.
Tamworth is a small city with tens of thousands people. There are almost supermarkets and shops as a large city has. The city contains all entertainment functions, a nice cinema, arts galleys, and country style of activities, including annual International Country Music Festival and horse ricing. But the living costs are lower and more green space. The train goes to Sydney and vice versa daily. A airport for public to flight nationwide.

Shopping is good, however the parking in the Main Street was terrible. Cars parked over lines taking up 2 spots, main travelling a very slow pace just is case someone might be moving out and they can get a car park, this then causes traffic jams with cars lined up for 2 blocks, And being caught over intersections when lights change.
Sport complex (hockey fields) amazing, was a great place to see, such a pity other towns don’t have similar complexes.

Just passed through and stayed overnight would have liked to stay longer to view more of the area.
When on the lookout excellent view with a lovely sunny day and blue sky and, a nice cool breeze, this lookout had some picnic tables available with walking trails maybe next time.
Enjoyed the Saturday markets while we were there, interesting from locally made products to homemade cakes etc.
Don't forget to drop into the Big Golden Guitar information centre the staff were friendly and helpful we also picked up a board game of Tamworth Monopoly, which you can only get here, why not we don't have this exclusive limited edition $30.00 bargain.

Had a friendly welcome from the owners who had pre-warmed the room for me and gave some good options for meals. The room was very clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. The TV was larger than my one at home. There was everything you would need for a short or extended stay. The motel is about 6km outside of Tamworth (Armidale side) which I liked. Very happy with my overnight stay and definitely happy to return.
Jass and her lovely husband are the most hospitable owners I have ever met...Great motel, great food and great service 😀 Regularly stay in motels a few nights a week, but when in Tamworth this is my home away from home 🏡
Longyard hotel is right next door. And most importantly, they don’t cancel your booking on the day of arrival like they do at the shitty Amberoo apartments in Tamworth.
