Swansea Beach Chalets, hotel in Swansea

At Swansea Beach Chalets we offer a range of comfortable, contemporary one and two bedroom chalets.

This property was conveniently located, close to town and other facilities. They owners were friendly and helpful. The actual cabin was spacious and very clean. It had necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. I would have preferred a cabin facing the view, but it was only a very short walk away. Accommodation was a typical cabin of what you would expect in a caravan park.

Belmont Homestead, hotel in Swansea

Set in Swansea, Belmont Homestead features accommodation with access to a garden. Complimentary private parking is available on site.

The property was on point. Everything offered online was as it was stated. The cottage was as cute as it was functional. The owners were there to greet us on arrival, plenty of firewood, offer to walk around the property and just enjoy the space. Inside the cottage was lovely, the fire was warming it up on arrival, fresh quality sheets, comfortable bed and sitting chairs, enough in the kitchenette for us to prepare our own meals.

Freycinet Waters, hotel in Swansea

Located in Swansea Village, this B&B features free Wi-Fi and a dining room with views over Great Oyster Bay. All accommodation has a patio or balcony with outdoor furniture.

Freycinet Waters bed-and-breakfast in Swansea has been a pleasure to stay at. My host was friendly and informative and very accommodating. My airconditioned room was well equipped with a very comfortable and warm bed, complete with electric blanket. I had a great view of the water from my window as well as a lovely sunrise in the morning. Even though the room wasn’t overly huge there was a great and efficient use of the space. A compact bathroom had a heated towel rail, a wonderful walk-in shower and thoughtful little touches like lights for the vanity mirror and a movement activated light so you could see at night. It smelt divine! It was great to have a small bottle of real milk rather than long life provided as well as the usual tea, coffee, as well as hot chocolate. A bonus was the beverage provided – which I assume was port. Incredibly, there was also a very comfortable lounge and a small table and chairs. A really thoughtful use of space I thought. Breakfast was filling with a choice of cereal, fruit and yoghurt, juice and a cooked meal. Overall a great and welcoming stay.

Our Hosts were outstanding their knowledge and friendly approach really enhanced our stay in this huge apartment. The breakfast supplied were amazing and self cook which we really enjoyed as we could have it at our own pace. The area and town were easy to access and we would love to go back one day. Highest recommendation for this property.

The Loontitetermairrelehoiner Track is a wonderful walk around the coast from Waterloo Beach to Schouten Beach. The walk itself is not as long as the name suggests. Very nice views of Great Oysters Bay, with backdrop of Freycinet Peninsula. As usual in Tasmania, there is nearly no one to be seen on the main street of this town after about 7pm. It's refreshing.

From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking.

From a tourist perspective Swansea was lacking. Not much choice of places to eat. The oyster bar was closed due to weather, we were unable to get to the patisserie as the bridge was closed due to flooding, the pub closed at 2 so cant have a late lunch which often happens as a tourist. the IGA was closed for some reason and there was a small express IGA that had your basic items. We had dinner at a small local cafe and it was very expensive for what it is $40 for a main. But we didn't have a choice as pub full and that was the only place in town open.

The holiday park is located next to Swansea beach, which, if the weather cooperates, offers breathtaking views over the Freycinet national park. The cabin itself is new, fully equipped and cosy. Quiet at night and convenient to explore the area, as well as for a stop while transferring along the eastern coast of Tasmania

Location is great, at the heart of Swansea near the beach, approx 50min from Freycinet. The room has an old motel look but is very comfortable with everything you need, bed and couch, mini fridge, microwave, cutlery, towels, shampoo and soap. Free parking next to your room as well.
