Beds were fantastic! Hot shower and big bathroom. Good sized area in bedrooms. The meals at the pub were also very very good and value for money. Complimentary breakfast was a lovely touch.

I have stayed before at the Colonial Rose, I like to be on the ground floor and find it very quiet. My room was set for a person with disabilities and that was not me. So the room was spacious, but a bit cramped in the shower area due to the specially chair/toilet chair. But I love that I can make coffee and toast in the mornings as there was a toaster in my room.

A lovely, huge apartment, with every everything supplied. The thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, condiments, books, cds and board games made it feel very homely. The kitchen was the best equipped of anywhere I have stayed. We were only there for a couple of days, but could quite happily have stayed a week. Allison met us with a friendly greeting, then left us to our own devices unless we needed anything. The pool was just outside the door, and we had it to ourselves the whole time we were there which certainly wouldn't happen at a hotel. It was so good to find a dog-friendly alternative to tiny motel rooms, and I'd have no hesitation recommending Lily St Courtyard to anyone.
