"Fern Retreat" - Private luxury in Noosa Heads, hotel in Noosa Heads

Situated in Noosa Heads, 1.8 km from Noosa Main Beach and 1.9 km from Little Cove Beach, "Fern Retreat" - Private luxury in Noosa Heads offers air conditioning.

We loved our stay at 'Fern Retreat.' If you are after a spotlessly clean and private property as a great base to explore Noosa from, this place is ideal. Compared to other properties we investigated, it was great value for money for a one week stay. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The super-king bed and quality linen made for a comfortable night's sleep. The apartment has a pleasant outlook through a floor to ceiling dining window that looks over a green belt. It has a lovely big shower, and having a washing machine and dryer was handy. Noosa Junction is a pleasant 5 minute stroll down a well lit concrete path through the bush, and we enjoyed eating out each night at the suggested casual eateries listed in the compendium. The beach is a leisurely 25 minute stroll away, even negotiating the hill in between.

RACV Noosa Resort, hotel in Noosa Heads

Surrounded by pristine beaches, rivers, hinterland and national parks, the 5-star RACV Noosa Resort is located just 3 minutes' drive from iconic Hastings Street.

Racv noosa is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are lovely and clean, the service and friendliness of the staff exceeded expectations, and the facilities at the resort are wonderful. Even providing life jackets for little kids to use the water slide is a real bonus when you are a nervous parent waiting at the bottom (and the water is slightly out of your depth). The food there was also really great. The staff were always wonderful with kids. Also we had an issue with our screen door locking itself and the maintenance guys came over and fixed it straight away. They were wonderful honestly. The level of service here is very very good. The shuttle going into town every 30mins was also great. The breakfast buffet in the morning was wonderful, lots of different options to suit everyone, and all the meals had at the restaurant were fantastic.

Loved Noosa Heads, such a nice place.

Loved Noosa Heads, such a nice place. The whole town is clean and friendly, Beachy vibes. Nice restaurants and lunch places, and cute clothes shops. Best ice cream at Massimo’s Gelateria, and the coastal walk to the fairy pools is a must. Swimming in the rock pools is so refreshing after the walk. Halse Lodge at Noosa Heads is a very nice hostel I stayed at with a restaurant/bar with good food and cheap drinks, the locals recommend it too

Noosa Heads is a little slice of heaven on earth.

Noosa Heads is a little slice of heaven on earth. The main beach and little cove beach were just beautiful! The sunset was breathtaking. Be warned as beautiful as it is there is lots of steep hills! Luckily they have free buses that run which help when your kids can't make it back up the hill. If your staying in one of the hotels on Hastings Street this won't really be an issue.

I like staying at Noosa for a relaxing holiday.

I like staying at Noosa for a relaxing holiday. You can walk to everything and there are a variety of places to eat. You can also take a short drive to Noosaville where there are plenty of things to do - Noosa River Cruise, hire a boat, jetski, paddleboard, guided tour through the everglades as well as more dining options. Noosa Junction is close by too where you can go to the movies, shop at Coles or Kmart and more dining options too. Hastings Street can sometimes be a bit busy but you can visit the surrounding parts of Noosa.

So easy to walk into Hastings St or option of ferry, bus or Uber if required. We hired pushbikes and rode around surrounding areas which was very easy and fun. Everything easy to get to and easy to get Ubers and arrange hire of bikes, boat hire, etc.

Great welcome, lovely glass of bubbles (or a healthy tonic) on arrival. Location, right on Hastings Street, handy to the beach and river and dangerously close to a whole heap of good shopping and great eating. Breakfast, above average for a hotel. The room, large with very comfortable lounge and dining area and small kitchen complete with Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster.
