The room we had was lovely. Very comfortable for our young family of 4. It was obviously newly renovated, beautiful decor and barn doors. The kids loved the bird feeding at the restaurant and the wallaby’s that came to the front of our room. A great pool, playground and tennis court too.

Kate was the best host you could hope for on Magnetic Island! We felt so welcome and Kate was able to offer loads of brilliant tips for enjoying our short time there. The accommodation was so beautiful and perfect for chilling out in after a busy day. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

The bus system works extremely well to visit other areas around the island and was very cost effective. You choose how long you wanted to stay in each area and then go onto the next. The scenery is so picturesque

We had a very memorable stay at this place, which we could truly call our home. The facilities, amenities, location and design of the house is beyond exceptional and a delight to enjoy.
This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Thoughtful supply of so many inclusions to make the stay comfortable. Colour coded towels, ample kitchen and laundry supplies, shopping bag etc. made our stay a luxury. Simone's responsiveness to the issues/concerns/our needs was very much appreciated.

Loved the location. Close to local shops. Our favourite eating place was Scallywags- excellent food and friendly, efficient staff and less than 10 minutes walk away. Close to the beach. Close to the ferry terminus. If you haven't got a car, the bus service is very convenient

Lots of wonderful places to eat and drink, a few boutique stores and Vinnies, for those forgotten items!! The beach was fantastic, with a snorkel trail to do and a walk to a beach bar serving fantastic food.

Nelly Bay is a little like the "CBD" of Magnetic Island.
Nelly Bay is a little like the "CBD" of Magnetic Island. Two big developments and several small apartment cluster. An excellent if expensive IGA and lots of restaurants etc. The amazing bus service joining all the main villages starts and stops at Ferry Terminal at Nelly Bay. Would have loved to have explored much more.

The room was clean and spacious. There was a lovely little kitchen area with anything you could need. The place itself is gorgeous and the pool is amazing. I especially loved how there were so many places to sit in the sun or shade. Having almost half the pool under a sun shade was perfect after spending long days in the sun. Lovely staff who are always so helpful in recommending things to do. The kiosk for snacks and drinks is so affordable. You could almost spend your whole stay on Magnetic Island at the resort. 10/10
We loved the classic vibes of an original 1970s style holiday resort with all the features. Felt like we had transported ourselves back to simpler times being on the island and staying at Amaroo. Pool, tennis courts, restaurant and bar plus the lush tropical garden are stunning. We would stay again.
Everything about the place was amazing clean and tidy love the place 10/10 I loved how it was close to we’re you can catch the Bus to Ferry and if you don’t mind walking it was a lovely walk to Ferry I Love Magnetic Island
