Lovely atmosphere, and very friendly and knowledgeable host Tina, who had some amazing and interesting stories and historical facts surrounding the Star lodge, while giving us a great tour of the building and surrounds.
Set on 4 hectares of lovely gardens, Newell Motor Inn features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and BBQ facilities. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi.

Room was , clean and comfortable, everything you’d need was there , I got in late at 9:30pm , a staff member was still in the office and recommended the restaurant at the ampol 24 hr servo for a meal , had one of the best mixed grills ever and I’m 61 , would definitely recommend
Narrandera is a tidy town. Much of the architecture is of historic value; the town has a well preserved commercial centre and the residential housing is also well kept. The town seems to be well planned with wide streets and established trees.
Dinner at the Bidgee Hotel was really nice.
It has an excellent aquatic centre with an olympic sized pool, huge recreational pool, kids pool and fountains and water slides. The centre is next to Lake Murrumbidgee and an adjacent modern lookout entertains with spectacular views of the Lake and aquatic centre. It is worth the view and seeing it at sunset is extra special. I would have liked to have explored more of the town and its attractions if we had more time.

It is a fabulous town and I could live there as the shopping centre has everything you need. There is an RSL club which has an adequate menu and our meal was great. Staff were very friendly. I really like Narrandera.

Great country town that deserves time to be explored at...
Great country town that deserves time to be explored at leisure. So much history, including some of our own family history who were first settlers. Keep an eye out for koalas in the nature reserve and visit the museum. Dinner was good in the Ex-services club and the goodies at the Narrandera Bakery are a must.

Nerrandera has a large recreation lake and two large swimming pools, one for recreation and one for laps.
There is also a wetland full of interesting wading birds.
The cafes are very good and lots of them.
We had a good meal at the pub.

Lovely small town.
Lovely small town. If you have your own bikes, definitely do the bike trails around Late Talbot, Koala reserve to wetlands - it took us around 2.5 hours to do everything (at an average pace). The trail, although kinda rocky (but flat most of the way) was a very nice place.

Narrandera is a pleasant stop over and Bishops Lodge is a well run motel stay. The staff are friendly and breakfast was included in the dining room.
It is close to the shopping area where we bought great Pizza at the Pizzeria and noticed some interesting shops. Lake Talbot is worth a walk and swim in season - fantastic water park!
For a very basic, small hotel, camellia is very good. Room was clean, bathroom looked to have recently been refurbished and the bed was very comfortable. In a great location for easy access to the main shopping area. There was a little bit of truck traffic noise but not enough to be too much of a bother.
Comfortable Bed. Hot shower.. Great Aircon. Friendly welcome and great recommendation of Charles Sturt Hotel for meal. All that you need for a comfortable night.
The address that we stay at was fantastic.. great services and very friendly/helpful staff! Highly recommend them to anyone who is coming pass Narrandera!
