The accommodation had several positives. The room was equipped with a mini-fridge, which was very convenient, and it was nice to be able to make a hot drink in the room, even though the kettle didn’t retain heat for long. We liked the handy location for my family as we had an event nearby to attend and didn't want to drive far late at night. Initially I wasn't sure about staying at a club/pub but there was no dramas with sounds from the downstairs bistro/pub, especially with it being NRL Finals too.
The staff we didn't really need to talk to much - only at the initial check in, which is a good thing I guess as we had no problems to deal with. The car park had plenty of spots when we turned up for check-in.
