A lovely little town, but I must say that some of the shop owners were not friendly at all, especially when the tourist may be a big part of their income. I visited an arty type of shop with many sun twirlers and statues and her attitude towards me was that I did not have enough money to shop there, so I walked out without purchasing any items. I was intending to buy a few things, but instead went elsewhere to spend my money. The owners of Priscilla's Cafe were wonderful people, nothing was too much trouble. The Candle Shop, the staff their were lovely and extremely knowledgeable. The Tea Shop, again, the lady was friendly and also knew a lot of what was in stock. The Mountain Inn Bar and Grill were happy to do take away meals, the chips were delicious.

Montville is ideally situated at the top of the range, west of Maroochydore and Nambour. It has great choice of eateries and coffee shops scattered along the length of the main street. Staff from the Montville Mountain Inn and the eateries/restaurants have a warm, friendly approach to customers. It is easy and relaxing to walk the length of Montville and enjoy the fresh air, the views, shops and friendliness of the locals. It is a great place to escape the tensions and pressures, the hustle and bustle of city life, and to unwind.

We went to Montville for an overnight getaway. The room was generous in size, the spa bath and faux fire place Perfect for our couples night away. The check-in was seamless , Covered parking directly underneath made it convenient. Everything was great. The only downside was the mattress was uncomfortable,

The beautiful green scenic mountains dotted with trees & houses & winding roads and puffs of clouds above some valleys is the most relaxing view to behold. Also the lovely quaint shops & cafe’s right at your door is so convenient.

Montville is a wonderful base in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. As it gets very busy for day trippers shopping, it is great to have accommodation in its heart so you don't need to worry about parking. It is well-positioned to tour other areas of the hinterland.

A beautiful little town with charm and character. A lot of little shops for visitors to browse. Plenty of cafes/restaurants to choose from. One of my absolute favourite places in the Sunshine Coast Region.
Beautifully positioned to see the view. Luxurious facilities. Staff were warm and friendly. The Studio was so private and secluded. Felt like we were sleeping in a treehouse. We love visiting Montville and it felt like we were actually residents for a few days. It was perfect for our honeymoon!
Very quiet, valuable price, neat facility. The staff was helpful on the phone even though the reception on site is currently closed due to COVID short staffing. The check-in was easy no hassle. The room is tidy and the location is very convenient to both Maleny and Montville.
The house was beautiful and our room lovely and clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were so lovely Such a great location to the Montville village.
