Sharlynn by the River is in a beautiful and peaceful setting and sitting outside on the private verandah was an absolute treat. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The provided breakfast food was excellent and plentiful - we had more than enough for our two breakfasts. Pam and John were very welcoming hosts as was Charlie.

Millaa Millaa is a beautiful, green, quiet area in the Atherton Tablelands, close to a waterfall track of 3 waterfalls. These waterfalls are stunning and a must-see. I would recommend this area as there's lots to see close by.

A quiet country village.
A quiet country village. Nice pub and a well maintained, attractive little park in the midst of the village. Located within a lovely scenic area with lots of good views across the countryside. Stop in at the Tea Room above the village.

Darren cooks well and loves his type of music. Melisa is an excellent host.
They are a young couple making the most of the old Millaa Millaa Teahouse.
The room we stayed in was facing west and very hot during the evening (August) and cold at night. This room should have some serious cooling and heating equipment to cope with the rooms aspect.
What a great location.

🌿The property is very private - beautiful gardens and is on a river. The walk down to the river is steep but steps that are stable assist in getting down. Also Carina guided me down. The water is beautiful once down - and you are surrounded by pristine rainforest. I highly recommend this lovely property and your hosts are really welcoming. 2-3 days at least stay. Also the town Millaa millaa is charming - has a lovely gift shop - with coffee etc outdoor - indoor seating. I had a dog and we sat outside . Great coffee. Local pub. Post office - Beautician. 🌿
