This was the only location I was aware of that was away from the main street.
I asked for a quiet room and was provided with a room in the quietest location of the Motel.
Although we didn't need it for our purposes, the bathroom had great access facilities for someone who might have a disability.
The fridge is located as far away from the bed as possible, so we were not disturbed by any noise.

Excellent staff - couldn’t have been more helpful and more friendly. Well equipped room, large, clean, great heating. Central location, across the road from dining facilities
Our room was excellent except for the single bed. The bed looked like it had been slept in, not made & pillow & towel were on the floor.
I had not planned to comment on this but your survey continued with more questions.
However I would stay again & recommend to friends.

Very comfortable, practical and location is great 👍. Glen and Nicole are very welcoming and friendly. I left my phone charger behind and was contacted within 20 minutes of my leaving, all sorted for me to collect when I next pass through, thank you 👍😊. The shower was Hot with very good pressure, and the bathroom has a wall heater - great for when you hop out of a hot shower in the winter. Finally the price was very good, cheaper than others in the town. Overall a very pleasant experience. Thank you 👌🙂

Only a small place however impressive. Businesses looked healthy and people really friendly.
Pubs looked modern however didn't get a chance to check them out. Impressed with accommodation options in town which was very impressive for a small country town,
.will definitely look to stay here again when come through central qld.

Miles is a beautiful country town with enough retail stores to service the area. It is a tidy town and the people are welcoming. The historical museum is one of the best I have seen and the staff who work there are very friendly and proud of their town.

roadworks in the centre of town that caused a little distraction to shops ect. Good supermarket
opposite my motel with a HUGH stock and friendly staff. Very impressed with Miles as a good Australian Town experience.

A lovely Western Downs country town with excellent quality...
A lovely Western Downs country town with excellent quality pubs and cafe, plus all the usual town shops and, of course, the Miles Historical Village Museum, which is unparallelled for depiction of pioneer life. It's an excellent experience for tourists and a wonderful resource for family historians seeking insights into the lives of their ancestors in the West.
We were a bit surprised to find everything in the main street closed on Sunday morning, but then the service stations offer food, coffee and convenience items for sale 24/7, so we didn't have to go without breakfast or cappuccinos on Sunday morning. We decided it's actually quite nice to experience a quiet country-town Sunday - such a change from busy Sundays in the City!
Friendly welcome. Very clean bed linen. Spotless bathroom. Good amenities across the hallway. Quiet hotel. Nice bistro downstairs. Parking for my car and trailer out the back. A comfy night with air con but I didn't need it, my own hand basin, and a welcome rest for a weary traveller.
