Well set up tourist town with all the modern conveniences needed for all types of travelers. Easy parking and lots of (clean) toilet amenities all over the town. Highly recommended. For an Asian restaurant, do check out Andy’s (it’s so popular do book if you can)

The weather in September was perfect. We ate at RSL and Working Man’s Club. Both meals very tasty and well presented with a friendly, courteous chat with Manager at the latter.
Information Centre and Aquatic Centre worth a visit, with coffee and snacks at the cafe there.
As we had toured Mildura before this short trip was just a relaxing get away.

We went to Mildura as a steppingstone for Lake Mungo and the enigmatic Mungo Man! Mildura itself is delightfully multicultural, there is even a couple of Asian grocery places which have obscure goods within. The people seem quite friendly, probably due to it being a large country town. The eating is good, there are plenty of multicultural choices in addition to the usual steaks and bakeries. These rural centres are really coming into their own and I could see myself retiring at somewhere like Mildura. Mildura is an epicentre of citrus (oranges mainly) and grapes. Its temperature is usually a bit warmer than its southern counterparts. Definitely worth visiting.

Mildura is a large regional city with lots of features right on the River Murray.
Plenty of good 'watering holes' and an assortment of great eateries/restaurants.
Lots to see and do. Really well worth a visit!

What I liked most was the experience of a holiday and proximity. The service and facilities are clean and tidy. Location is fantastic with shopping close. What was difficult was there was no drainage for the bathroom and unheated pool. Though the jumping pillow was a complete success!!! Next time I will try to get a disabled cabin as it was a bit difficult to negotiate, however if my daughter and I are welcome we will definitely come back.

The Quality Hotel Mildura Grand in Mildura is a grand and historic old hotel close to the New south Wales border.
It is a fine place to lay your head for the night. A short walk to shops, restaurants and pubs. Or you can dine in house at their own restaurant.
There is no onsite parking which to be honest if I had of realised I would have stayed elsewhere. Leaving my car in a public carpark on the next block (across the road) with a motel tag on the dash was not something I’d like to do again. So location earns a score of 4.
Super quiet and clean, well communicated on how to retrieve keys, wifi password, netflix & expectations during the stay including rubbish disposal. Fantastic for a family stay however I was travelling alone and felt refreshed after a decent nights sleep, away from hotel/motels on a main road. This will be a property of choice for both business & family trips.
Location was in a nice area opposite the river.
Cabins were a bit average. It was my first time staying at a Caravan Park.
It was not very private at times with other guests & children around your cabin.
highly recommend this hotel, especially if you travel with your family. The villa is very clean, modern, you will rest assured to have a good stay there.
