We stayed in this cottage for the third time and it is the best place near mt Buller. Easy drive to the top of the mountain and you have the whole house for your family for the reasonable price. It is located in a beautiful place near the river. Enjoyable stay every time.

This was our second stay this season at the Delatite and both trips were great! Staff were lovely, the room was quiet and warm and bathrooms were clean and fresh.

Helpful staff and good location right near a shuttle station. The free breakfast was nice and a great way to fuel up for a day of skiing. Having the ski hire within the lodge made it really convenient as well. The drying rooms were much appreciated and we were very grateful to be able to store our luggage in the storage room after we checked out.

The location is good, only a 30-minute drive to Mt Buller. the room is clean and the beds are comfortable. The only thing is the bath heater lasts only 7-8 minutes, then shut off automatically. It will be great to set it to 15 minutes to allow finishing a shower.

The room was comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. We had all the amenities inside the room. Dining and breakfast onsite was helpful so we didn't have to find a place outside to eat. Food taste good and restaurant wasn't crowded.
I like the big parking space infront of the reception and that we can park near our room.
A bit pricey accommodation though I booked 4wks earlier. Overall a convenient location and a good stay.

Lovely quiet area, however both the nice restaurants cancelled our booking due to "staffing" and we had to drive back into Mansfield. Rodeo is not our thing that weekend but it h ers would have enjoyed it, just meant everything is booked out.

There is not much at Merrijig to be honest, its a very small...
There is not much at Merrijig to be honest, its a very small community kind of in the middle of nowhere, which is perfect if your looking for somwhere close to Mt buller but away from the hustle and bustle, Im guessing there would be a number of walking tracks that would be great in the summer also.
There is a lovely old Pub for meals or a quiet drink, and an other place just down the road which we did not go to.
We were pleasantly surprised the moment we entered the cottage. The kitchen and living area were spacious.
Its facilities were excellent and the lovely decor provided great finishing touches for a fresh and comfortable feel.
The beds too were most comfortable. It was so appreciated that each bedroom had its own ensuite. We really enjoyed sitting at the picnic table in the beautiful setting down by the creek as well. Merrijig Cottage is certainly a great place to relax.
The view was good though, looking out our lounge room window over Merrijig and over the mountain. Some mornings you woke up to seeing the mountains or they were hiding behind a lot of fog. You couldn't see Mount buller from this location, but it is a very short drive up, maybe, 20 minutes maximum. Near 3 good places to eat.
The location is good if you are travelling to the snow, short walk to the Hunt Club Hotel which has good food and a pick up location for the MMBL bus to Mt Buller.
