I loved the beachy vibe. When we drive around the property is was cool to see the facilities they have for RVs.
The room was clean and neat. Even though it is a bit dated but it wasn’t anything that bothered us. We had a comfortable stay and had everything we needed. Proximity to the beach and a solid location to see the sunrise was a plus.
We arrived a day before our booking (my mistake with the booking) however the staff were so sweet and accommodated us even though we made a mistake.

Absolutely stunning place with pristine blue water beaches. I would recommend Merimbula a 100 times over Lakes Entrance. Its worth travelling extra 3 hours from Melbourne. Spend some time there. The whole Sapphire coast is amazing. High chances of of spotting a whale

The views of the area are spectacular, especially during whale-watching season.
There were many walks that could be taken and they were on flat ground.
The town itself is on an incline that can be tiresome for some.
The tourist information bureau had great information that we availed ourselves of.

We love Merimbula, so easy to get around by car or walking. I prefer to park the car at my accommodation and walk everywhere, so easy and so many beautiful walks. The weather was perfect, seafood fabulous....Merimbula is our happy place.

One of the best place to escape from daily routine and restore the energy. Plenty cafes, shops and activities for different budget and taste, including whale watching,surfing, fishing and gym/yoga. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely will recommend to stay in Merimbula
The view is amazing throughout the whole day, sunrise was amazing sitting out on the deck chairs by the pool, night time and lounging around the camp fire whilst overlooking Merimbula was nice. Nice decor rooms, spotlessly clean and has a spa feel to it. Beautiful lounge area with refreshments available. Gardens and surrounding areas well kept, tennis court and equipment free to use! Staff all friendly and approachable, let us check in half hour early as our room was ready.
We had a fantastic time at Merimbula Garden Motel. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good décor and crisp bed sheets. The room unfortunately had a faulty heater. But Arun, the staff, was very friendly, polite, and attentive and went out of his way to upgrade our room to a better and bigger one to ensure that we were comfortable. I can’t fault the place and will definitely go back.
