The property is in a fabulous location a very short walk from cafes, shops, restaurants and the pub. It appears to be a newly built property with modern appliances. It was clean with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved our stay and our only regret was that we were not there for longer.

Loved the location and the cabins were top notch. Cabins are beautifully fitted loved the privacy and decor.
Amazing people, wines and food. The Cube was an experience and the food at d'Terry's on the verandah was amazing.
We did a tour with "Affordable Tours with G" which was great, the wines are lovely and the winemakers very chatty! Lunch at the Tap House was really good as well - great tasting options (if you need a break from wine) and the best pizza I've had in a long time.
Dinner at Star of Greece well worth it as food and service is fantastic.

McLaren Vale is a must to visit when visiting Adelaide, because of its soil it has without a doubt the best wines in South Australia. Three days was not enough time to spend in this region to see and taste the wonders here. We would highly recommend visiting McLaren Vale as a must-see destination.

I live close by but we had a family wedding just outside McLaren Vale. It is such a lovely spot - truly lovely place to visit and stay - lots of places to visit, lots of wineries. It is so worth the trip and if you can stay for a few days - it will be worth it. Great place to base yourself for a look around the area.

This is a lovely little town and we enjoy going down and checking out the coffee shops and places to have lunch. We enjoy the Information Centre which has a beautiful outdoor undercover setting to sit and have a delightful lunch in the sun.

The wines in McLaren Vale are great.
The wines in McLaren Vale are great. We loved Samuel's Gorge, Kays and Fox Creek wineries. Most wineries charge for tasting the wines but that cost is removed if you purchase wine. The wineries also allow two people to share a tasting because of the issue of drink driving.
There are bus tours available in the area but we had our own car.
Eating can be tricky because many places are only open Thurs, Friday, Sat and Sunday. It is probably a good idea to check at the Visitors' centre to find out what is open when you are there. We ate at the Salopian Inn, Harry's Deli (Wirra Wirra winery), The Currant Shed and Pizzatecca and would recommend them all.
Great location, and beautifully presented home. The bedrooms were spacious (the master was huge) and tastefully decorated, and 2 great living areas. A complimentary bottle of local red and local cafw 20% discount offer was a personal touch.
Walking distance to everything you need, and hosts were accommodating and responsive. Would most definitely stay again, next time we are in McLaren Vale.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. We really enjoyed the pool as it was an extremely hot day. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed as we were staying on a Sunday night. The place was quiet, clean and in a lovely location. We have stayed here before and would happily return when visiting McLaren Vale
Very well renovated heritage cottage, full of character and very cosy with wood fire. Anne and John were perfect hosts and they supplied a very generous selection of supplies for our stay, including a delightful bottle of McLaren Vale wine and cheeses that we enjoyed.
