First time here at Beach on Sixth and everything was bloody fantastic. We booked at the last minute as it was close to the venue we needed to attend over the weekend and could not have asked for a better place to stay. Communication right from booking was fantastic. Colleen is a gem. Thorough, friendly, and wonderful. Clean, tidy, close to the beach and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

After hours check-in instructions very clear (pictures supplied helpful), location convenient, apartment clean and bright, reception staff helpful (albeit there were extremely reduced hours due to the New Year holiday period), close to beach and a good amount of cafes nearby (just some with restricted hours due to the public holiday period)

it is very easy to get around Maroochydore. I recommend the sunset boat trip around the canal and we eat mostly in restuarants The indian restuarant i highly recommend. The shopping malls are within walking distance of Rhythm on the Beach.

We found the area a pleasure to walk around a morning walk along the beach was a bit cold(thanks to the cold front that was coming through from the south) but still very enjoyable.
Best breakfast and coffee places near and at the Surf clubs at both ends of the walk 👌

Construction next to the hotel was loud even though we were on the sixth floor. Road noise was also surprisingly loud during the day.
The view was spectacular but not tranquil with all the noise.
Shirley was lovely but not helpful with requests during our stay. Pool & gym closures were not communicated at the booking stage; announcing these closures at check in was not helpful.
Extra $5/towel charge for changing out towels during our stay. No room cleaning was provided. We stayed 3 nights/4 days and were using our 5 towels for the local community pool ($6/visit/person) and in-room use which meant laundering them daily with 5 family members.
Having to chase up an extra roll of toilet paper outside of reception hours was annoying. No additional toilet paper rolls were supplied in any of the 2.5 bathrooms. One box of tissues for the whole apartment. Toiletries dispenser in the main en-suite did not work. Toiletries supplied for this bathroom were not adequate for our stay.
Unlikely we will be returning.

Lived near Maroochydore, was nice staying along the River so nice, great walking/riding path along the river. A 2- 5 minute walk to the local small shopping centre IGA, Seafood shop and The Bridge Hotel that had meals where we ate Twice during our stay. A popular coffee next door to our accommodation for breakfast and dinners. Unfortunately we didn’t get to eat there. Bus stop out the front of our accom on Bradman over for buses to Maroochydore Plaza a major shopping complex and food area. Or an easy 8 minute drive. Easy access to The Motorway to either Sunshine Coast Airport or up to Noosa or down to Mooloolaba, Kawana or Caloundra by the Motorway.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Maroochydore Sunshine coast is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in as the manager Peter Manderson refused to refund my credit card payment through booking .com very disappointed with my stay!Ive travelled all around the globe and never had this experience before!! The apartment I had was exceptional and the balcony had sun all day. Most apartments or accomodation only have sun part of the day. The apartment had plenty of space with a lovely big lounge that opened up to the big balcony. The decor was very suitable. The kitchen had plenty of space to prepare meals. Katrina the meet and greet lady was there to be friendly and exceptionally helpful. Highly impressed with my stay and there would be no other place I’d stay in Maroochydore.
Close to beaches & centre. All we needed. Clean. Tea/coffee facilities & plates, cups etc. Everything you need for a stay. We would stay again even for a week. Cheap rates.
