Coachstop Caravan Park, hotel in Maitland

Featuring 3-star accommodations, Coachstop Caravan Park is located in Maitland, 22 miles from Hunter Valley Gardens and 16 miles from University of Newcastle.

Price was reasonable for the Hunter Valley. Older Caravan park I had a Cabin. I was looking for a Hot Shower, comfortable bed and a nights sleep and I was quite happy with what I got. Checked in late so key was in Lockbox, just said hello when I left but the lady seemed nice. Only problem is that it's next to the old Highway and near the Railway so there was a freight train going past every hour. I just turned the Air con Fan on and that covered up any noise as far I was concerned. Excellent hot shower. I was happy with the whole stay

The Family Hotel, hotel in Maitland

Located in Maitland, 20 miles from Hunter Valley Gardens, The Family Hotel has accommodations with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar.

We booked a night here on our roadtrip up north travelling with our 2yo. From the warm hospitality, the complimentary welcome drink, and great atmosphere we knew we landed in the right place. The hotel has Incredible old world charm tastefully decorated and was exceptional value for money. Definitely not a bland, modern hotel thankfully, an increasingly rare find these days. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates an historic space beautifully remodelled that's run by a fantastic couple. The excellent restaurant, live jazz, kitchenette with free coffee, milk (Inc non dairy) treats , cereal etc was fantastic.

Punthill Maitland, hotel in Maitland

Punthill Maitland provides a fitness room and air-conditioned accommodations in Maitland, 21 miles from Hunter Valley Gardens.

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and all the facilities exceeded our expectations. The coffee machine was a great bonus! It’s an ideal choice for family trips, and its location makes visiting nearby wineries very convenient. Situated right in the heart of Maitland, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and leisure options. The riverside walkway was perfect for morning and evening dog walks. We stayed with our pet, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Clean room, brand new it seemed. Having a couch would be good for longer stays, though we didn't use it for just an overnight stay on our way home from further south.

Everything was great, We were close to all the shops and the wedding Venue, we were there for was within a stones throw from Maitland. Awesome accommodation and facilities in the rooms. I travel for work often and that was the most comfortable bed and sleep i ever had in a hotel. Thank you so much Quest hotel and the great staff you have.

I was there for the Collectors Plant Fair & booked 2 nights thinking I’d find something to do on Sunday. I came home early as I found the town had nothing much to offer. 7am Sunday I could not find any cafes open for breakfast & there wasn’t much open on Friday when I arrived. I was hoping to spend Sunday exploring some unique local boutique shops & cafes but I was disappointed. Put it this way, it’s not Berry.

Maitland has great architecture from times gone by but many have been or are being refurbished. It is on the Hunter River, so there's easy access to the river from a number of locations. The Maitland Regional Art Gallery never disappoints and I always visit there if I'm there during opening times. Maitland offers a great glimpse into regional Australia. The Family Hotel is a funky pub which offers a great bistro menu and craft beers.

Beautiful suburb with everything you need is in there.

Beautiful suburb with everything you need is in there. Lots of restaurants, petrol station almost in every block. Unfortunately, we feel that the locals are not so friendly with visitors/foreigners come to visit or to explore. They look at us like weird or strange.

room was really small and pretty run down but beds were comfy and towels nice. Other friends stayed at the Quest in town for the same price and it was way better. Their rooms were like units so was pretty disappointed. Nothing open in hotel like bar. We were a large group around 30 people and had to ask if they could please open bar.

In comparison with the first time, the room was more comfortable and mobilised. The atmosphere of the hotel due to the restaurant and bar was great.
