Grassvale retreat was just that...a beautiful peaceful retreat set in the middle of rolling farmlands but just a short drive from excellent coffee, shops, and walks. We can also recommend the nearby pub in Lindenow for great beer and friendly locals. The cottage had everything we needed and more, such as the thoughtful basket of crackers, milk, lemons, and porridge, which was much appreciated. The views all around the cottage were awesome. If it had been a little warmer we would have fired up the bbq for sure.

Nice, spacy and well-equipped room for several days driving through the Gippslands.

Overlooking the peaceful Mitchell River, The Riversleigh is a historic hotel built in 1886. Some rooms offer a private spa bath and a private balcony. A continental buffet breakfast is provided.
It was the perfect place for a few days peace and quiet.
It was the perfect place for a few days peace and quiet. The cottage had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the groceries that had been left for us on our arrival and there was plenty of wood for the fire. We didn't use the bbq but it looked out onto an awesome view and I imagine it would be lovely to sit out during the summer. The local pub is the best for friendly locals and great beer and there was lots of great walking and good restaurants nearby. We couldn't fault it.
