Staff were great and helpful. Especially Chris who helped organise our dinner plans. Front staff and reception and concierge were also very lovely.
The location is great if you like to do bush walks.
It had a great view, we were lucky with out timing of when we got there. However best to check the weather since it started to rain and got reallllyyy foggy.
It's also not too far from the three sisters so we did the night walk there.

Beautiful accommodation in the Blue Mountains. We stayed at the Convent with 4 people and really enjoyed the big kitchen that could have supported a lot more people. It is in a nice and well-kept garden. As a European I especially appreciated the central heating, that meant arriving in a cozy holiday home after a cold and dreary day in the mountains.

Leura is perhaps the jewel of the Blue Mountains.
Leura is perhaps the jewel of the Blue Mountains. A small, intimate and picturesque village with plenty to offer in restaurants and cafes and boutique shopping. It’s central to all the attractions at Katoomba. Wentworth Falls and not too far away is Blackheath and Lithgo

I liked the location, and the surrounds garden was beautiful what i didn't like is the fact that there was no Wi-Fi in our room and the bed was in poor state mattress was very hard no toaster in the kitchenette. Reception was no help either

We ate at the Fairmont Resort because it was so convenient having a 5 and 7 year old.
We were only able to stay for 2 nights and were very sad to leave because our stay was so enjoyable.

Leura is a lovely village-like place in the mountains.
Leura is a lovely village-like place in the mountains. Cold in winter, it is very popular and busy on weekends. Lovely old estates and homes keep it interesting amongst beautiful gardens. Plenty of shopping, hiking, lookouts in the area and close to Katoomba.

Leura is full of quirky shops, cafes etc. For the more active there is some wonderful bush walks around Leura or for less active many accessible lookouts. Winter is particularly lovely with the chance of snow. Spring sees the mall looking its grandest with cherry blossoms and festivals. Summer in the mountains is cooler than towns on the plains with fabulous Christmas meals. Autumn is a must for the spectacular colour of the deciduous trees. Beautiful area full of wonderful gardens.

• Christmas Theme: The Fairmont Christmas in July was lovely the lobby was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations and the open fire is very inviting.
• Staff: Most of the staff are very friendly and attentive to the children and myself.
• Children’s Activity: The children’s winter activity program is outstanding. The BIG hit this year was the giant slide. This hotel knows how to cater to young children. Felt sorry for the older guests with no children.
The house is gorgeous. Very spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The location is great, about 1.2km from the town centre of Leura. Very warm with the ducted and electric fire place on, which made a big difference to the freezing cold outside. Nice big block too which is great if you have kids...lots of room to run around. Beds were all comfortable too. Great for larger groups.
The games and toys available in the guest lounge (our four year old loved them!), the beautiful gardens, and a good continental breakfast with a range of different milks available (ie soy, almond, cow etc). Friendly / lovely staff. So close / walking distance to beautiful trails near Sublime Point and Fairmont resort. Spacious rooms with plenty of heating and pillows.
Online photos true to actual property, (except BBQ not functional). Clean and cosy with easy access. Gas heater nice and warm. Spacious living and dining space with great outside area. Close drive to Leura shops.
Absolutely loved this cottage. It was cosy with the open fire and gas log fire, 4 poster bed and spa bath. Location was close to the sights and Leura & Katoomba.
