Nice family trip Went to Visit Fairy Caves Lake Tyres Hired a boat tried and failed at fishing multiple days. Which was alot of people we met feedback that fish were scarce Alot of jelly fish in the lake so had to be carfeull were you swam Salty Cafe was great for coffee and the Big Bears Donuts were a hit with the kids. Chants Carnival was there (as we were there over summer) nice to have however felt it was overpriced rides for what they were. They were in terrible shape and the people running all were less then friendly none of them could be bothered being there and looked out of it. A few were even smoking while dealing with the kids in the carnival games and one put there hand up in my child's face when they asked a question as she was smoking. (I would 100% give that a miss so many other things better to do unless you want to waste $100 in 5 min and risk food poising. Not operated by locals) Everything you expect from a Country Town was delightful and locals were so nice! Night life everything is closed by 10 or 11. So would consider this more of a family staycay!

My first stay at Lakes Entrance outside the busy holiday periods. Very much a more enjoyable and relaxed place to spend a few days when the crowds aren't around and the weather is kind. I enjoyed the walking and was lucky enough to watch the seals and dolphins feeding and playing at the entrance as the tide changed.

There were a few mini golf centres, with different attractions to both. There were quite a few places to eat. For the time of year, it felt quite relaxed, to walk along the Marina, and up and down the main street. There were a few options for boat cruises, and other water activities.

Lakes Entrance is a lovely coastal town it is surrounded by water and very relaxing. Love seeing the fishing trawlers and other boats, nice walking path beside the water. Restaurants and Clubs are good, with plenty of choice.

Five star - Accomodation— Sea Shanty - Sodafish - RSL - amazingly friendly-Vubbues - Vinnies up cycle 10/10 Vietnamese with delightful figurine Table bisc- fantastic host , service & Delicious aromatic noodle soup! Bowling club - POKIES extremely thirsty n DEYc-.Soorts Xlub - unusual VIBE but overall very spacious, Rileycsraff was attentive?

Had a lovely Chinese birthday dinner at RSL. Great variety and service. Lunched at couple coffee shops, Saw Woolies and Aldi, even though we did not need them. Booked for luncheon cruise to Metung, but had to cancel - VERY sad about that. That is a MUST do while there. Easy walking around when weather is good.
