Members of my family and I have been staying at Ky Country Motel fairly regularly now for some years, and we now regard Karen and her family as friends. We often travel to Ky with family issues such as the bereavement of an older family member, and to describe Karen and team as supportive under these circumstances is an understatement.
The rooms are always immaculate and fitted out well. Anything extra required such as milk or towels is never a problem. The fact that there are tables and chairs at the front of each room, and especially the barbecue area at the back of the property (complete with chooks), means that a stay at Ky Country motel doesn't require you to be 'stuck' in a motel room, but that you can enjoy the outdoors weather permitting. It's a great place for extended family to stay for this reason.
There has never been an issue with unruly people staying in other rooms.
Having stayed at a number of places at Ky over many years, I would not elect to stay anywhere else, and thoroughly recommend to anyone needing accommodation in Ky.

We went to play in the par 3 championship at Kyabram parkland golf club so most of our time was spent there. There is a variety of food outlets and venues in town. Supermarkets etc. Zoo. Central to other cities.

I stayed in a Queen Room. The bed was very comfortable. The Room was very clean and tidy. The Air conditioner was on and the room temperature was a comfortable 22 degrees upon arrival. The after hours contact was very helpful. The chance to feed the Chickens, food scraps in the morning was "Gold!" I can definitely recommend a quite, peaceful, and restful stay in Kyabram at the Country Motel. Hurley's Hotel provides a great value for money Country Meal with great staff.

Unfirtunately we didn't exoerience other attractions as we arrived on a rainy day & left in blustery conditions!! (Overnight stay!)

Kyabram is a busy town and seems to be doing quite well, which a lot of other towns on the smaller side are struggling. The main street was a hive of activity when we arrived on the Saturday afternoon around lunch time.

Having an art exhibition at the town hall gallery was a great space. Affordable and beautiful rooms. Wonderful to see so many shops and so many eating places. We ate at the pub , Kyabram club and morocco cafe and all were great spots to eat. For a small town it has loads to offer. The fauna park was a must see too.
