Good location to the lake, to markets, to restaurants, hotels, parks. Within 20 minute we could reach Kingston Hotel where we met family for a meal. We felt safe walking back from the hotel to our apartment on Trevellian Quay.

Great for bicycle riding with a pathway through Telopea Park to the lake. Many really good restaurants in Manuka and Kingston foreshore all within easy walking distance. The glassworks and Old Bus Depot Markets are well worth a visit. Mainly a very quiet suburban environment. Nothing to not like.

A quiet leafy suburb of Canberra with some great restaurants and cafes in the local shopping Centre and on the foreshore. These are within walking distance of the accommodation I chose. A pretty park next to the foreshore, where there are more restaurant with water views.. Quiet, easy to walk around. Conveniently close to the National Gallery and other attractions.
