Kingston Hotel, hotel in Kingston

Featuring a bar and views of mountain, Kingston Hotel is located in Kingston, a 17-minute walk from Kingston Beach.

Location great. Very close to shopping facilities and restaurants. Walking distance to both. Room was nice and clean except for what seemed to be a hair dye stain on the toilet seat. I'd blame a naughty guest for that. Bed was a standard double and ok. Staff were nice and the whole process of check in and out was really easy. Would stay again.

I liked the coziness and it was very quiet. We didn’t see many other people but we weren’t really there during the day much. Heater was perfect for the cold night too.

Hobart Hideaway Pods, hotel in Kingston

Hobart Hideaway Pods offer boutique eco friendly accommodations set among the rural part of Mt Wellington's foothills, with expansive views across the Derwent River.

Beautiful little place with amazing view to wake up to (both on a good day and in pouring rain and drifting mist!). Love the fact it's built, managed, and utilities supplied in an eco-friendly way, and Traditional Owners acknowledged. Have already booked again!

Spacious room, all basic amenities available- microwave, fridge, tv, cutlery, kettle and toaster. Had a seperate sofa and dining table which is well placed. Very helpful receptionist, check-in after hours was hassle free and provided late check out too. Coles is right opposite which is great, location is a little far from city centre (10-15mins drive)but this is a good budget friendly and hygienic option. Exteriors are okay, was disappointed but once I saw the room was very happy. 4/5 overall!

I used my room at the kingston Hotel as my base as I was touring around the local area. It was in a prime spot, if you enjoy shopping this is the spot for you, for me it was all about travelling around. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Also so quiet, I was very surprised by this. The restaurant the staff was lovely and the food fantastic. Very family friendly with an area just for kids to have fun. Totally enjoyed out stay there and will be returning very soon.

A growing area with ample shopping and other convenient facilities, such as restaurants, fast food outlets, bus station etc., all within a short walk. An efficient bus service to cater for trips to the city of Hobart. The township is handy to Kingston Beach and other surrounding areas for daily walks. A thoroughly pleasant and relaxing place to visit and stay.

It was an unique experience something different to what we were use to staying in. Gardens were beautiful lots of native trees, do lots of bird life .It snowed while we were there so that made it extra special. Kingston was only a short drive away, so lots of great eating places.

Location was lovely and quiet you could hear the waves crashing on the beach whilst we stood out on the balcony. Coles servo close by. Kingston beach not far away. Weather wasn’t warm enough for us to visit the beach this visit.
