Great location, walking distance to everything local, pubs, cafes shops but not too close that you experience any noise. Nice sized rooms with a great balcony. Wonderful view of the township from our room. Very clean. Nice comfortable bed. Everything was very clean and tidy. They also have a great incentive for not cleaning your room unnecessarily where the funds are donated. No disturbance from any other hotel patrons. Secure parking out the back as well. Desk staff friendly and welcoming.

Location of the hotel was premium on the main street just down from the central intersection. A great veranda on the second floor to relax, unwind and watch the world go by. Mal the Manager is a good guy and very accommodating.

The room was lovely and spacious and the spa bath was nice and large. I also liked that they provided both a softer and former pillow as options as most hotels don't.

great location, close to supermarkets and places to eat. our townhouse was very quiet at night.
The history here is amazing. I am born and bred in WA and knew some of it but learned so much more. Gosh they did it hard. We take so much for granted. Some of the buildings are gorgeous while others are very run down or have become unsafe, a shame but a lot of $ would be needed to sort them out. Gorgeous wide streets. Has a really nice feel about it. Spring the perfect time to go. Lots to see and the museums were very, very good with some fantastic photos.

Super pit was amazing.
Super pit was amazing. The tram is a must if you don’t come with transport. Drive yourself probably better easy to get around and you can spend time at each place or go on tram before you start looking around yourself as people on the tram had already taken themselves to most places. Great place to walk around. We enjoyed our stay. One tip if you are planning a short trip. Most tours and places of interest don’t open on weekends.

Fascinating history and architecture.
Fascinating history and architecture. Personal transport is needed to explore properly, with proper planning.
PLEASE provide money to mend the clerestory roof on the Geological Museum - that mineral display is magnificent, and we were so looking forward to spending hours there again. Unfortunately, not possible at present.

Kalgoorlie has kept some amazing buildings, and the tram...
Kalgoorlie has kept some amazing buildings, and the tram tour was excellent. Greg did a great job. The Tourist Centre staff were delightful, and it is wonderful to see so many buildings that have been restored. The vault in gold mining museum was fascinating and the Kambalda Town Hall/War Museum was interesting. We stayed almost in the centre of Kalgoorlie and therefore access to what we wanted was within walking distance. The tram tour took care of the rest. Everywhere we went the locals were very chatty and welcoming.
What an absolute gem! Definetly 5 star rating.. It has a mixed nostalgia of 1900's and modernity. With a lovely little garden to sit outside and enjoy a coffee..Very comfortable.I recommend that this is the place to stay in Kalgoorlie.
