We were upstairs and had a great view of the Lake which you could walk out to as lake area was meters away. The layout of the accommodation was good and had all the basics you would need and would be awesome for a family. It was a quite location just a short distance via car from China Beach and Hyams beach and Husky with all its attractions. We also noticed a short walk across the road there was a small a playground.

It was perfect for a couples getaway and especially with the dog. All facilities you need, fire pit is a great touch. Outdoor shower is glorious, plenty of room and a great place to take the dog for a walk - everything is a 15 minute drive away.

Beautiful interior - cosy and stylish. Everything worked perfectly and the cabin was spaceous and bright, with a well equipped kitchen and lovely bedrooms. Slightly out of the main centre so lovely and quiet with cosy outdoor space, but a quick few mins walk to town or to the beach, so super convenient. Lovely and helpful hosts!

Our booking was canceled as the National Park being closed due to bushfire threats. I understand (as per the t&c’s) we weren’t entitled to refund or able to move our booking to an alternative dates and I also recognize the circumstances were stressful and challenging for the property owners. However, it also needs to said that our annual holiday was cancelled without prior notice or any compensation and we would have at the least expected a follow up email from the property owners. A token gesture upon our next booking or equivalent would have been appreciated as a show of good faith.
