Air-conditioned on a very hot day. Quiet and relaxing location. Loved the fruit cake and the avocado for breakfast.

Location was great really close to the places we needed to go as a family.
The room is just a straight up normal hotel room and it was exactly what we needed as a family.

Hastings is on the Westernport Bay side of the peninsular, so is a quieter than the Port Phillip bay side. The locals are friendly. It is close to most of the attractions on the peninsular and makes for a good base. We went to two restaurants and had fabulous food in each.

We had one night’s accommodation at the Sanctuary on Westernport in Hastings which was very comfortable. Local supermarkets and shops and takeaway stores 10 mins walk. We thoroughly would recommend the restaurant in town called Pelikan Societe opposite the Jetty. We would come back again and take the ferry to French Island or Phillip island from Stoney point. There are trains that come from Frankston to the ferry terminal.
