Very clean and comfortable room; quiet even though on the highway.
No staff onsite, looked abandoned. No restaurant as advertised. Unkempt, rubbish, cigarette butts in front of my room, power points not working, shabby unloved and quite sad really. Local pub had the worst pizza I've ever had. drive the extra couple minutes to Narrandera. *****NOT RECOMMENDED*****

Small country village.
Small country village. The community just bought the local pub that was going to close, that's how passionate they are about their village. There is a shop / post office and piles of grain waiting to be moved out by truck & train. To top it off the stars and Milky Way were stunningly bright - no competing lights
This motel earns its top rating thanks to the warmth and generosity of its owners. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they genuinely strived to please each and every guest during our stay. The room while very dated and uninspiring was spotlessly clean and the bed linen was pressed, cleaned and laid out on the beds to the standard you’d normally experience in a five-star hotel.
Proximity to the community owned Royal Hotel, which had spectacular pizzas on Saturday night. And a community garden over the rail line nearer the motel. A great history walk. This community is trying really well to build facilities to keep the town going.
Mark & Deb were welcoming and exceedling helpful. If you seek a 'value for money' stay then I highly recomend a stay at the Grong grong Motor Inn. Breakfast was excellent. Coffee was excellent. Facilities are well maintained and clean.
Rooms are always very clean, Very peaceful location. Close to Grong Grong hotel or Narranderra for shopping restaurants etc...Owners are very friendly ....Nice clean rooms and Barbecue, area almost complete.. for summer.
