The location was out of the way which is exactly what I wanted. I wanted to get away into nature and this was perfect for that. I would love to stay there again.

The property was exceptional, comfortable bedding with heated blankets, exceptional bathroom with a rain shower, and a kitchen that has everything well thought out to cook your own meals - we loved the welcome cheese platter and breakfast essentials that were stocked for our stay.

The property is beautiful with the paddocks and creek to explore. My kids loved building dams in the creek, building stick huts, looking at cows and wildlife, and exploring the property. The cottage has a lovely historic feel and is very cosy. It is a great place to switch off from technology and enjoy the serene surroundings. My kids can't wait to come back.

It was the perfect little getaway. Plenty of space for us and our 2 dogs they were able to run around freely and enjoy themselves. The tiny home was on a 40 acre property with tracks to walk around and look at. .

An absolutely great location. Exceeded all our expectations The hosts were there to help when needed and the extras such as bubbly, milk, homemade jam and lemon curd as well as eggs and pod coffee were just wonderful. A great country location in the bush and surrounded by the sound of birds in the morning. A very cosy and romantic getaway and only two hours drive from our place.

This was an exceptional property. It was boutique accommodation - it felt like we were living in a "country life" magazine. There are TWO exceptionally large and beautifully furnished living and dining areas, opulent bathrooms, and a gourmet kitchen and servery with a double oven, every appliance or utensil you could possibly think of, and a barista coffee machine with beans and grinder ready for use. The bedrooms were so beautifully presented, and had plenty of room and comfortable bedding. The photos just really don't reflect this at all. We were blown away when we arrived.
My teen was ready to move in when we saw the wall of books, the younger children loved using the art supplies and my husband loved the living area with the music-lover feel.
It was impressively built with a high green energy rating and easy single-level accessibility. We noted it was beautifully climate-controlled despite the heat wave whilst we were there which was important to us as we traveled with elderly relatives. But it was equally well designed to withstand the cold winter temperatures.
The host was in immediate contact when I managed to child-lock the microwave and couldn't work it, as well as answering our questions before arrival.
One of the loveliest aspects of staying in this house which added to the uniqueness was the amazing artwork and decor of the property. It felt like we were staying at an art house or museum of beautiful things yet still felt like a home we could live in rather than a home we would be frightened of staying in with kids.
Loads of undercover parking, loads of space, loads of everything!
But please don't stay here, we would like the property to remain available for us whenever we want to visit the southern highlands!! (In jest, of course!)
