I booked this hotel based on a scrutiny of other venues by using Booking dot com. I had to book a hotel because at about 4AM my car hit a roo on the highway near Collector. I was carless and 1500KM from my destination (Brisbane). I was adrift with stress and confusion because my car no longer worked (radiator, rooined... LOL... I can pun now but when I booked this hotel I was bereft of humour). I had hours to wait (I got into town at about 630AM and check-in was not until the pub opened, I think at 11AM). In the end I didn't stay the night. I used the room to organise my stress, organise my thoughts, have a nap, and organise a hire car. This is an old school pub hotel. Shared shower/toilet. It's good, honest, and basic.

Bed was absolutely fantastic, slept like a log! bathroom lovely and room facilities excellent. Michelle, Front Desk was what all Motels/Hotels should have, great customer skills and knew property well. Very quiet in complex which is a massive bonus when your guests are tired after long journey.

This was a great stop over location for us. Well located so that it was very quiet, very comfortable and clean. Cabin had newer appliances and fittings. Most impressed!

Fortunately I called ahead and let the office know that we were arriving later than expected, although office hours stated 9 am to 10 pm, it was closed when we arrived at 8.30 however the key was under the door mat as promised.
The bed was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

The restaurants provide some great choices of food and deserve to be supported.
It is easy to get around Goulburn to all the attractions - call in to the Information Centre, and they can direct you to many attractions and points of interest.

Goulburn is a very historic town, with lots to see in the way of old buildings, fabulous Historic Waterworks, Railway Station, Rocky Hill War Memorial, Bungonia Gorge and more. We also loved the Gehl Garden Centre. I wished we had made it 4 days, so we could have done it slower!

Goulburn is a beautiful large country town full of history...
Goulburn is a beautiful large country town full of history and warrants a stay rather than just somewhere to pass by on the freeway between Sydney and Melbourne. I love heritage architecture and there is a feast of beautiful old buildings and homes to take in, and the amount of historic Churches could rival Adelaide for title of City of Churches.
The long main street holds many interesting shops worth a couple of hours exploring, and the park in the main street is well maintained by council staff and a lovely place to just sit and relax. There are many eateries just in the main CBD area, from cafes to restaurants, to pubs and clubs. Worth a few nights stay in the area.

Well, it's a very rural NSW town. It has some featured architecture. Its not far off the Hume Highway as an over night stay. As opposed to Wagga Wagga. If you are travelling to Melbourne Canberra or Sydney on the way..

One of the few motels that are pet friendly, as our dogs travel with us for work there was no problem with having our dogs. Room was clean and comfortable also had an area where our dogs could empty out. While not in the centre of town but close enough,this suited us and was quiet. Staff helpful and pleasant. We have now stayed here on a number of occasions with no issues and will continue to do so.
Great hotel, always stay here when travelling. Just off the highway with no noise. Friendly staff, clean room with comfy beds. Excellent bakery next door with yummy coffee and breakfast.
