Beautiful location. The room was spacious, well equipped and stylishly decorated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and taking in the sea view. The beach was an easy walk away
Tea Gardens Hotel features accommodation in Tea Gardens. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.
So much to see and do. The people of Fingal Bay and surrounds take great pride in their towns, everything is so clean and well maintained. The views are amazing, lots of places to enjoy good food or a cocktail. Do yourself a favor and head to Fingal Bay and surrounds! Must do is a trip out to Tea Gardens on the Original Tea Gardens Ferry. Kerry the captain is full of information and daily the dolphins swim on the side of the ferry on the trip across the beautiful waters. Another must do is a trip to Anna Bay Sand Dunes and ride the camels, have breakfast or lunch at The Crest Cafe at Birubi Beach while you're there.

An absolutely stunning part of the world, it felt so serene, the beach being across the road and hearing the waves crashing at night! A lot less tourists too!
So wonderful to have everything you needed within 20-30 minutes drive away.
So many different beaches/bays to explore along with lookouts, bush walks and the local shopping precinct.
I'd highly recommend the Sunset Camel Ride along Birubi Beach, an incredible and memorable experience! 😀
I'll be back to visit and experience so much more!

Fingal Bay was a quiet retreat from Nelson Bay with great food and friendly locals. Easily accessible to Nelson Bay by bike tracks. The unit was well catered for a longer stay and the grounds were clean and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend a stay there, although I don't want it to get too popular and get booked out!! The local bowling club was a good find for food and drinks.

What we like most was; the beach, fishing, 'the spit', the coffees, the close vicinity of all the facilities of Nelson's Bay; e.g. Holberts Oyster, Authentic Thai, Two Bob's Bakery, the walk at Tomaree headland, the Country Club and Shoal Bay, just to name a few.
