The place was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, nice modern and clean shower and toilet. Extra shower and toilet on site as well as them being in my own small home. Very quiet and peaceful at night, good air conditioning, enough cutlery and appliances to make you feel at home as well

Rosie was lovely and very supportive of our busy schedules, offering a later checkout time and lifts between the house and the main street of euroa. Absolutely loved the property. Our girls had a ball and loved Murphy the dog. It was unfortunate that it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool.

Hunter Cottage Euroa, hotel in Euroa

Offering a tennis court, Hunter Cottage Euroa provides accommodations in Euroa. There's a private entrance at the vacation home for the convenience of those who stay.

The place was immaculate, close to everything, well-appointed with comfortable furnishing, everything I needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Heaters in the bedroom and lounge kept it cozy, and the heat lamps in the bathroom added to the ease of getting started on chilly mornings and after long days cycling or hiking. Rosie was accommodating when I asked to extend my stay and had great info about cycling in the area. The gardens were well maintained and beautiful. The patio and backyard gave me options for eating, reading and just relaxing. Easy access through the back door for storing my bicycle in the laundry room, Great snacks, bread and cereal for breakfast, crisps and Timtams. When I had a few punctures, the hosts even provided CO2 cartridges so I could safely continue my cycling. Access to a big screen, smart TV and free Netflix let me switch between watching the Olympics and movies without ads. Clearly one of the best places I have stayed in Australia, and I have been booking places for over 20 years. I hope to go back soon and then in April for the Ride the Ranges cycling event. Great coffee and breakfast at Mely and Me with homemade jams and other condiments. Huge, delicious scones! Also check out the Strathbogie Store after a challenging 20 something km ride out of town. Apple cake served with a smile is the reward. Galls Gap Road is a very challenging ride up from Mansfields Road to Strathbogie but a stop at Polly McQuinns allowed for a nice break. No place to get water or food so be prepared. Going downhill on Galls Gap Road would be a dangerous descent given random potholes, tight turns and no shoulder. Motorists were very patient and gave me lots of room as I chugged up the hill and on the open road where the speed limit was 100 kph. Rosie did warn me about the local cranky cabbie who reportedly feels compelled to scream at cyclists, but I didn't run into him this time. The 400-meter walk at Goorum Falls was also a nice break from cycling..

A charming town just off the Freeway, only a couple of hours' drive from Melbourne, it's a beautiful place with a lovely Town Centre with great cafes and shops and friendly and relaxed people. I'd like to live here. Even if you are not stopping here for the night, it's a perfect place to stop for a lunch break and then continue on your drive to somewhere like Yarrawonga at the border.

Basic motel room, but brand new revocation and fitout. Super clean with everything you need for a short stay. Loved the little extras like the coffee pod machine. After a long tiring drive, we so enjoyed a hot shower under the rain shower head, and a hot coffee on the comfortable new lounge.

Having grown up in Euroa, it's always great to come back and see how the town is evolving and changing over time. As well as some nostalgia in things that have remained the same. The town is in the perfect location on the Hume Fwy, halfway in between Melbourne and Albury. As such it's a great place to stop on the way through. There's something for everyone, especially regarding food options with many different pubs, cafes, restaurants, little corner stores etc to choose from. We were there for a birthday party and ate at the Middle Hotel. Food and service was excellent, especially considering how busy they were on New Years Eve.

Euroa is a clean, well maintained town.

Euroa is a clean, well maintained town. Lovely old buildings and lovely parks. Disappointed with the lack of food venues available on the long weekend. Many places were closed. The only takeaway venue we could find was fish and chips which served great burgers. It was clearly very popular as the only place open. The wait time was long due to the volume of people, they were very apologetic

Euroa was surprisingly delightful - the restaurants, cafes and local sights were lovely. It's a really peaceful location, the nature and trails are calm and relaxing. We went to Avenel Maze (25 minutes away) which was excellent for children - it was Ned Kelly themed with a lot to see and do. We also went to The Rockery Gemstone Museum (15 minutes way) which was delightful and worth a visit! We ate a lovely dinner at the Seven Creeks Hotel - the outdoor garden/dining area is absolutely perfect. We had dinner the following night at Flam Shan Chinese (not easily found on Google but located at 63 Binney Street, phone number found by googling the name) which was delicious and great value for money. Would love to come back to Euroa on a cooler weekend for the bike trails, hikes and miniature railway!

Euroa is a lovely country town, with beautiful gardens along Castle creek. Picturesque, cared for, and a lovely walking track. Can find good coffee, and good food to revive you, if stopping on way elsewhere.

Clean, convenient to town and the Tesla Supercharger. Very responsive to our late arrival and had the cabin already warmed up for us. It is compact, but well-appointed. We were there in the off-season. We have come to really enjoy our stops in Euroa and will often picnic there by the river. This was our first overnight.
